PERFECT
We must be perfect in our hearts and minds with Yahweh. If we follow and worship other gods, and even the wrong idea of God, we are not perfect with our God, THE God, Yahweh.
Depending on the context and usage of the word perfect, there are many verses that demonstrate what perfect is.
We will study the Old Testament verses first.
We will see that Noah was perfect in his generations (lineage, heart, and ways).
Abraham was perfect in his ways and faith (and lineage).
Sacrifices were to be only of perfect animals, no blemishes, breaks or deformities.
Yahweh's ways and works are perfect, and His revealing of casting lot is perfect.
We also will see that we must be perfect in keeping our covenant relationship with Him. To follow His laws, commandments, statutes, ordinances and judgments.
We also will see that being perfect is also being blameless, faultless, and morally and ethically pure. All of which is easily attained, simply by knowing and doing this...
John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
Genesis 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect (H8549 tamiym) in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Here, man, H376 (iysh) is used because iysh has many meanings that describe a man. Here, that meaning would be worthy. Why? Because Noah was perfect in his posterity. A pure descendant of Adam and obeyed Yahweh.
Perfect means: undefiled in his family lineage. Upright, undefiled, without blemish, morally clean, integrity, sincere, full, sound, whole.
Noah and his family were the only people at the time that had not race mixed and did not live unrighteous lives.
Sirach 44:17-18
17 Noah was found perfect and righteous; in the time of wrath he was taken in exchange for the world (evil society); therefore was he left as a remnant unto the earth (land), when the flood came.
18 An everlasting covenant was made with him, that all flesh should perish no more by the flood.
2Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world (society), but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world (society) of the ungodly;
The lighter italicized letters in the KJV are added by the translators.
Noah was the tenth from Adam, but Noah was the eight preacher of righteousness (Order of Melchisedek).
Jasher 5:13-18
13 And Noah was a just man, he was perfect in his generation, and Yahweh chose him to raise up seed from his seed upon the face of the land.
14 And Yahweh said unto Noah, Take unto thee a wife, and beget children, for I have seen thee righteous before Me in this generation.
15 And thou shalt raise up seed, and thy children with thee, in the midst of the land; and Noah went and took a wife, and he chose Naamah the daughter of Enoch, and she was five hundred and eighty years old.
16 And Noah was four hundred and ninety-eight years old, when he took Naamah for a wife.
17 And Naamah conceived and bare a son, and he called his name Japheth, saying, God has enlarged me in the land; and she conceived again and bare a son, and he called his name Shem, saying, God has made me a remnant, to raise up seed in the midst of the land.
18 And Noah was five hundred and two years old when Naamah bare Shem, and the boys grew up and went in the ways of Yahweh, in all that Methuselah and Noah their father taught them.
6:10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The “churches” teach that all the races came from Adam, or even that the children of Noah were the fathers of the different races. This is another lie from the pulpit. Yahweh would not break His own law of 'kind after kind'.
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine (99), Yahweh appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God (El Shaddai); walk before Me, and be you perfect (H8549-undefiled).
17:2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.
The covenants were made to Abram and his descendants. The “churches” teach that everybody can be a part of these covenants and promises. But Yahweh made this exclusive to the posterity of Abraham.
Not only was Abram a pure descendant of Adam through Noah and through the line of Shem, but Abram was also obedient and righteous and walked in The Way. He had a perfect heart toward Yahweh. He had faith (allegiance), and demonstrated it.
Chapter 22 has to do with the sacrifices of animals.
Leviticus 22:20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall you not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
Deuteronomy 15:21 And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto Yahweh thy God.
Malachi 1:8,14
8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith Yahweh of hosts.
14 But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto Yahweh a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith Yahweh of hosts, and My name is dreadful among the nations.
22:21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto Yahweh to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect (H8549- undefiled) to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
In the OT, the animal sacrifices were not accepted if there were any blemishes or flaws.
In the NT, the spiritual sacrifices we make are not accepted if they are not in truth.
For example: The “churches” today are filled with race mixed peoples, practicing sinners, and follow false doctrine. All these are abominations to Yahweh and are not accepted. You cannot be accepted by Yahweh if you associate, practice, partake in and accept these things. Jesus was NOT a Jew and worshiping Him as one will lead to your destruction. It is time to learn true knowledge and gain true understanding. Your perfection depends on it. Your heart cannot be perfect towards Yahweh if it is towards a misconception.
Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth (practices) divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Leviticus 18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Yahweh.
18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto Yahweh: and because of these abominations Yahweh your God doth drive them out from before you.
18:13 You shalt be perfect (H8549- upright, blameless) with Yahweh your God.
The other pagan nations sacrificed their children to Molech and other gods. This still literally goes on today by the Jews in Israel and throughout their secret societies. We as a people also do this in another form called 'abortion'.
When Yahweh tells us to be perfect with Him, He is telling us to worship just Him. To have our hearts and minds and mode of life with Him. Not with little g 'gods', or anything else for that matter.
Being perfect also means walking upright and being blameless before Yahweh in all things.
Deuteronomy 25:13 You shalt not have in your bag divers weights, a great and a small.
Leviticus 19:35-36
35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am Yahweh your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is abomination to Yahweh: but a just weight is His delight.
25:14 You shalt not have in your house divers measures, a great and a small.
25:15 But you shalt have a perfect (H8003) and just weight, a perfect (H8003) and just measure shalt you have: that your days may be lengthened in the land which Yahweh your God giveth you.
25:16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto Yahweh your God.
Yahweh wants us to be righteous and fair. A whole, complete, and unharmed weight and measure system is righteous and just in the eyes of Yahweh.
Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect (H8549- having integrity): for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.
Psalm 18:2 Yahweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
32:5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
32:6 Do you thus requite Yahweh, O foolish people and unwise (morally senseless)? is not He your father that hath bought thee? hath He not made you, and established thee?
Isaiah 63:16 Doubtless Thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: Thou, O Yahweh, art our Father, our Redeemer; Thy name is from everlasting.
Yahweh wants us to be blameless and without spot. That means not being foolish, unwise, ignorant and corrupted by society. We must also remain pure and undefiled. That means no race mixing.
Saul gave a foolish order not to eat any food during a battle with the Philistines. Jonathan and his armourbearer were not present to hear it. Because of Saul's oath, the people sinned and Jonathan was to pay with his life.
1Samuel 14:38 And Saul said, Draw ye near hither, all the chief of the people: and know and see wherein this sin hath been this day.
14:39 For, as Yahweh liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.
14:40 Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto you.
14:41 Therefore Saul said unto Yahweh God of Israel, Give a perfect (H8549) lot. And Saul and Jonathan were taken (by lot): but the people escaped.
Proverbs 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of Yahweh.
14:42 And Saul said, Cast lots between me and Jonathan my son. And Jonathan was taken (by lot).
14:43 Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what you hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die.
14:44 And Saul answered, God do so and more also: for you shalt surely die, Jonathan.
14:45 And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: as Yahweh liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought (worked) with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
Saul did many foolish things that led to his own demise. The casting of lot, when done correctly and with righteousness, is revealed by Yahweh.
2Samuel 22:31 As for God, His way is perfect (H8549); the word of Yahweh is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him.
22:32 For who is God, save Yahweh? and who is a Rock, save our God?
22:33 God is my strength and power: and He maketh my way perfect (H8549).
Perfect: complete, whole, sound, healthful, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity, what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact, without blemish, undefiled.
If we follow The Way we will be perfected.
When our heart is with Yahweh, we are perfect. When it is not, we are not perfect.
1Kings 8:56 Blessed be Yahweh, that hath given rest unto His people Israel, according to all that He promised: there hath not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised by the hand of Moses His servant.
8:57 Yahweh our God be with us, as He was with our fathers: let Him not leave us, nor forsake us:
8:58 That He may incline our hearts unto Him, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers.
8:59 And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before Yahweh, be nigh unto Yahweh our God day and night, that He maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
8:60 That all the people of the earth may know that Yahweh is God, and that there is none else.
8:61 Let your heart therefore be perfect (H8003) with Yahweh our God, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commandments, as at this day.
H8003 is a reference to keeping the covenant relationship. The blessings of obedience. When we walk in The Way our heart and mind is complete, safe, peaceful, perfect, whole, full, safe, unharmed. Being perfect is an ongoing thing. We must practice it daily.
1Kings 11:1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
11:2 Of the nations concerning which Yahweh said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
Exodus 34:16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
Deuteronomy 7:3-5
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
11:3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect (H8003) with Yahweh his God, as was the heart of David his father.
11:5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
Judges 2:13 And they forsook Yahweh, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. (2 Ki 23:13)
Ashtoreth is where Easter comes from. Ishtar, Astarte, all names of the goddess of fertility, hence the eggs. Sex, orgies and race mixing were the practices of these rituals. The “churches” celebrate this pagan holiday that has nothing to do with Christianity.
Milcom is a reference to the six pointed star. The “churches” teach that this is the star of David, which is incorrect. It is the star of Solomon when he adopted the Canaanite religion through his strange wives. The star is the star of Molech, Chemosh, Baal, Satan, the Devil, and the Jews, who are the Devil's children through Cain and Esau.
The number six is an evil number in scripture.
Amos 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
Acts 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
11:6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of Yahweh, and went not fully after Yahweh, as did David his father.
Solomon became a fool in the latter days of his life and forsook Yahweh for the gods of his multi-racial wives. The kingdom was split in two and cast off into punishment because of Solomon's choice to break the covenant relationship with Yahweh.
1Kings 15:1 Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam (of Israel) the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.
15:2 Three years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.
15:3 And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect (H8003) with Yahweh his God, as the heart of David his father.
15:6 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
When we do not walk in The Way, and when our heart and mind is not perfect with Yahweh, we are not at peace, not unharmed, and not complete in keeping the covenant relationship. We invite the curses of disobedience.
15:8 And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.
15:9 And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Asa over Judah.
15:11 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, as did David his father.
15:12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
15:13 And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
15:14 But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect (H8003) with Yahweh all his days.
Even though Asa was quite a good king and did many things which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, keeping the covenant relationship, however, he did not remove the high places of pagan worship. Because of that, he did not have complete peace.
15:16 And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.
And in his old age he was diseased in his feet.
2Chronicles 16:12 And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to Yahweh, but to the physicians.
Hezekiah's sickness
2Kings 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Yahweh, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Yahweh, saying,
20:3 I beseech thee, O Yahweh, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect (H8003) heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
20:4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of Yahweh came to him, saying,
20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of My people, Thus saith Yahweh, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Yahweh.
20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for Mine own sake, and for My servant David's sake.
Hezekiah humbled himself and repented to Yahweh. Yahweh heard him and defended Jerusalem from the Assyrian invasion because Hezekiah kept the covenant relationship with Yahweh.
David's supporters.
1Chronicles 12:38 All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect (H8003) heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
H8003 is from H7999 which is a reference to peace. To be in the covenant of peace. When we are perfect in mind and heart with the Ways of Yahweh, we are at peace. Keeping the covenant relationship with a whole heart.
1Chronicles 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect (H8003- whole) heart and with a willing mind: for Yahweh searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever.
Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me, that I am Yahweh which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith Yahweh.
Solomon ended up forsaking Yahweh in his old age because he gave his whole heart to the gods of his racially alien wives. Solomon broke his covenant relationship with Yahweh.
Chapter 29 is David's prayer and Solomon made king.
1Chronicles 29:9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect (H8003- whole) heart they offered willingly to Yahweh: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
29:18 O Yahweh God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Thy people, and prepare their heart unto Thee:
29:19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfect (H8003- good) heart, to keep Thy commandments, Thy testimonies, and Thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace (Temple), for the which I have made provision.
Again, H8003 is a reference to the covenant relationship. This covenant was made at Sinai. Our ancestors agreed to keep Yahweh's commandments, statutes, testimonies and judgments. To obey and be blessed, or to disobey and be cursed.
2Chronicles 4:19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
4:20 Moreover the candlesticks (lampstands) with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
4:21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect (H4357- wholly, completely) gold;
4:22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
2Chronicles 8:16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of Yahweh, and until it was finished. So the house of Yahweh was perfected (H8003- complete, finished).
We are not 'saved' yet. Neither are we 'once saved, always saved'.
Just as the Temple was built from the foundation up, we must build our hearts and minds upon the foundations of our heritage and God. This life is our test to see if we will follow Yahweh's plans and rules. We are not perfected until we are finished with the test. If we follow The Way and build upon it and practice it daily until death, then will we be complete and finished and perfected.
All the work of Christ was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of Yahweh, and until it was finished, “It is finished”. So the house of Yahweh was perfected.
Christ Yahshua is the first of our race to be perfected. He is our example and model. He is the Word which is the Plan which is our path.
If we follow The Way (the Word, the Plan), if we strive to imitate Christ, if we live obediently and as a true Christian, we will be perfected and have life. If we keep our covenant relationship, we will be blessed and have life.
2Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of Yahweh run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect (H8003- whole) toward Him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Asa was a good king of Judah, but his heart was not wholly perfect, hence the wars. Asa kept the covenant relationship with Yahweh (1Ki 15:14) but evidently broke it later on (2Chr 16:9).
Jehoshaphat's reforms
2Chronicles 19:1 And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate Yahweh? therefore is wrath upon thee from before Yahweh.
Psalm 139:21 Do not I hate them, O Yahweh, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
Jehoshaphat sided with Ahab, the bad king of Israel. Under no circumstances are we to side with those that oppose Yahweh.
19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
19:4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto Yahweh God of their fathers.
19:5 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,
19:6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for Yahweh, who is with you in the judgment.
19:7 Wherefore now let the fear of Yahweh be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons (stature), nor taking of gifts.
19:8 Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of Yahweh, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.
Deuteronomy 16:18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which Yahweh thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
19:9 And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of Yahweh, faithfully, and with a perfect (H8003- whole) heart.
'Ye shall return to the covenant relationship with Yahweh.' Jehoshaphat prepared his heart to seek Yahweh and brought the people back to Yahweh as well. A wonderful reformation and return to the covenant relationship.
Joash was minded to repair the house of Yahweh.
2Chronicles 24:7 For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of Yahweh did they bestow upon Baalim.
24:8 And at the king's commandment they made a chest, and set it without at the gate of the house of Yahweh.
24:9 And they made a proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to bring in to Yahweh the collection that Moses the servant of God laid upon Israel in the wilderness.
24:10 And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.
24:11 Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
24:12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of Yahweh, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of Yahweh.
24:13 So the workmen wrought, and the work was perfected (H5927 H724) by them, and they set the house of God in his (it's) state, and strengthened it.
The Septuagint has: '…, and the works prospered in their hands,...”.
H5927 has many definitions. Mainly, to go up, ascend, climb, to bring up, restore.
H724 is healing, restoration.
Amaziah, king of Judah
2Chronicles 25:1 Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.
25:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of Yahweh, but not with a perfect (H8003- whole) heart.
2Kings 14:4 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as yet the people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places.
Donald Trump can be seen as a good king of Judah that did right in the sight of Yahweh, but not with a whole heart. He did not take away the high places, smash the groves, and rid the land of racial aliens.
Keeping the covenant relationship means keeping the ordinances that go with it. Perfection does not tolerate mediocrity.
Ezra 7:11 Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of Yahweh, and of His statutes to Israel.
7:12 Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect (H1585) peace, and at such a time.
7:13 I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.
The letter ends at the end of verse 26.
H1585 is from the Aramaic and means to complete. It corresponds to H1584 which means to end, complete, cease, perfect, perform.
Aramaic because the Persians are descendants of Shem. Racial brethren to the Israelites. The Persians and the Medes defeated the Babylonians which had carried the Israelites of Judah off into captivity.
The Septuagint reads: Ezra 7:12 Arthasastha, king of kings, to Esdras, the scribe of the law of Yahweh Elohiym of heaven, Let the order and the answer be accomplished.
Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect (H8535) and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
1Chronicles 1:17 The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
H8535 is pious, complete, morally innocent, having integrity, one who is morally and ethically pure.
Not only is Job a pure Adamic man in the line of Shem, but Job is also a follower of The Way and revered Yahweh.
1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Yahweh, and Satan came also among them.
The sons of God (Ben Elohiym) are a reference to the angels of God. Not man. These would include the good and/or the bad angels.
1:7 And Yahweh said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
1:8 And Yahweh said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the land, a perfect (H8535- pious, innocent, having integrity) and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
1:9 Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
1:10 Hast not Thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
1:11 But put forth Thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse Thee to Thy face.
Satan is saying that Job is a fair weather believer.
Yahweh allowed Satan to challenge Job's integrity.
1:22 In all this (tragic events of chapter 1) Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Satan again requests to try Job.
2:3 And Yahweh said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect (H8535) and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although Thou movedst Me against him, to destroy him without cause.
Satan thought he was testing Yahweh. Yahweh was testing Satan. He was using Satan to try Job to remove the dross.
2:4 And Satan answered Yahweh, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
2:5 But put forth Thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse Thee to Thy face.
2:6 And Yahweh said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
Do not take his life. Yahweh planned on keeping that gold (Job) when the dross is removed.
2:7 So went Satan forth from the presence of Yahweh, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
2:8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
Satan was also tested, in that he showed himself to have no mercy. He wants God's children to curse Him to His face.
This life is our test, to see if we will follow The Way or not. We all have a little dross, or a lot. The tests and trials we go through will remove the dross and if we abide in Yahweh and the persuit of righteousness then we will be refined. Job is an example of trial by fire.
Job was humble. Then he exalted himself. And then he humbled himself. And was again exalted.
We all have a little dross.
8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect (H8535) man, neither will He help the evil doers:
9:15 Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.
9:16 If I had called, and He had answered me; yet would I not believe that He had hearkened unto my voice.
9:17 For He breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.
Job is partially right that it is done without cause, but not really. He is being tried by fire to remove the dross he did not know was there. But Yahweh knew it was there.
9:18 He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.
Job is blaming Yahweh for what the devil has done to him.
9:19 If I speak of strength, lo, He is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
When can I go to this judgment? Job is implying that Yahweh is afraid to judge him, because He knows how righteous Job is. Yahweh is not coming forth to give the judgment to Job so he can die.
9:20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect (H8535), it shall also prove me perverse.
9:21 Though I were perfect (H8535), yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.
Septuagint: 21 For even if I have sinned, I know it not in my soul: but my life is taken away.
9:22 This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect (H8535) and the wicked.
These are accusations by Job.
Zophar mocks Job
11:7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection (H8503- the end, consummation, completeness)?
Eliphaz' response
He talks about the wicked man
15:29 He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection (H8503- the end, consummation, completeness) thereof upon the earth.
Job's response
19:6 Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with His net.
More accusations by Job.
19:7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
Job is telling Yahweh to judge him, is Job too righteous for Yahweh to judge him? Job's dross rises.
19:8 He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and He hath set darkness in my paths.
19:9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
More dross by Job. Yahweh didn't do this, Satan did.
19:21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
Not the hand of Yahweh, but the hand of Satan.
Job 22:1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
22:2 Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?
Psalm 16:2 I said to Yahweh, Thou art my El; for thou has no need of my goodness.
22:3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you art righteous? or is it gain to Him, that you makest your ways perfect (H8552- complete, finished, be at an end. H1870- road, journey, manner, direction)?
22:4 Will He reprove you for fear of you? will He enter with you into judgment?
When we claim our own righteousness, or that we are 'saved', then we are revealing that we still have dross. This life is an ongoing test. We must continually seek perfection.
28:3 He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection (H8503- the end, consummation, completeness): the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
Job 35:1 Elihu spake moreover, and said,
35:2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My (Job's) righteousness is more than God's?
35:3 For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
See how Job did not see his own dross?
35:13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
35:14 Although thou sayest thou shalt not see Him, yet judgment is before Him; therefore trust thou in Him.
Good advice from Elihu.
Job 36:1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,
36:2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.
36:3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
36:4 For truly my words shall not be false: He that is perfect (H8549- sound, whole, what is complete or entirely in accord with truth) in knowledge is with thee.
37:16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him which is perfect (H8549) in knowledge?
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
Job repents
Job 42:1 Then Job answered Yahweh, and said,
42:2 I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from Thee.
42:3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
Psalm 131:1 Yahweh, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
42:4 Hear, I beseech Thee, and I will speak: I will demand of Thee, and declare Thou unto me.
42:5 I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth Thee.
42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
Job repents, he humbles himself, and the dross is removed. The dross that Job did not know was there. The dross is removed by the trial of fire. Job came through the fire.
Though Job was a righteous man, even Job had to be taught a very important lesson. Job ignorantly blamed Yahweh for his calamities, and went as far as to say that he was too righteous to be judged by Yahweh. Even the most righteous of us must still be humbled. No matter what challenges are thrown our way, we must never blame Yahweh for anything. Everything that we experience are either blessings for obedience or curses for disobedience. Job never cursed Yahweh.
Even though we may be righteous at times, we are not perfect all the time. Only Christ achieved perfection. He was perfect all the time. He lived it, practiced it, taught it, showed us the example of it, and fulfilled it.
We can never be perfect in this body, but it is the effort that Yahweh is looking for. His Way and His laws and His example is the path to perfection.
Psalm 18:30 As for God, His way is perfect (H8549- truth, sound, complete, whole, having integrity): the word of Yahweh is tried (tested): He is a buckler (shield) to all those that trust (take refuge) in Him.
18:31 For who is God save Yahweh? or who is a Rock save our God?
18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect (H8549).
If we simply follow The Way we will be protected, strengthened and perfected.
Psalm 19:7 The law of Yahweh is perfect (H8549), converting (restoring) the soul: the testimony of Yahweh is sure (established), making wise the simple.
19:8 The statutes of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes.
If we simply follow the laws of Yahweh He will open our eyes, restore our soul, and establish us in wisdom, which leads us to having a perfect heart with Yahweh.
Psalm 37:37 Mark the perfect (H8535) man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
Hebrew: 37 Watch the man of integrity, and see the upright: because the latter time of that man is peace.
Morally and ethically pure.
Psalm 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection (H4359- completeness) of beauty, God hath shined.
The Septuagint has 'excellence'.
Psalm 64:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the (hated) enemy.
64:2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
64:3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
64:4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect (H8535- those of integrity): suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
The Septuagint has 'blameless'.
Living righteously is living blamelessly. When we commit error (sin) we do not have integrity and are not blameless. Hence, perfection is an ongoing thing. Hence, there is no such scriptural doctrine of 'being saved'. Those that are “saved” 'already', are in a sense, claiming that they are perfect, which they are not. Christ was not perfect until He completed the test. Had He erred He would have been just like us and unable to die for us. We are still taking our test and must strive for perfection, daily, until we die.
Psalm 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect (H8549- having integrity, blameless) way. O when wilt You come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect (H8537- innocent) heart.
101:3 I will set no wicked (worthless) thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
101:4 A froward (crooked) heart shall depart from me: I will not know (associate with) a wicked person.
101:5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud (arrogant) heart will not I suffer.
101:6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect (H8549- wholesome, in accord with truth) way, he shall serve me.
A perfect heart towards Yahweh and none other.
Psalm 119:1 ALEPH (First Hebrew letter). Blessed are the undefiled in The Way, who walk in the law of Yahweh.
Christianity was originally called 'The Way', meaning “way of life”.
119:96 I have seen an end (completion) of all perfection (H8502- completeness): but Your commandment is exceeding broad.
Psalm 138:8 Yahweh will perfect (H1584- complete, perform) that which concerneth me: Your mercy, O YAHWEH, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of Your own hands.
The Septuagint reads: O Yahweh, Thou shalt recompense them on my behalf: Thy mercy, O Yahweh, endures for ever: overlook not the works of Thine hands.
Psalm 139:16 Your eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect (H1564- the unformed child); and in Your book all my members were written, which in continuance (due time) were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
139:21 Do not I hate them, O YAHWEH, that hate You? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against You?
139:22 I hate them with perfect (H8503- complete) hatred: I count them mine (hated) enemies.
139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
We must completely hate what Yahweh hates. How can we be perfect if we are not completely on Yahweh's side?
Proverbs 2:20 That you mayest walk in The Way of good, and keep the paths of the righteous.
2:21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect (H8549- innocent, those with integrity and inaccord with truth) shall remain in it.
Septuagint: For the upright shall dwell in the earth, and the holy shall be left behind in it.
Holy means set apart. Set apart from unrighteousness. We are a set apart people. It is our duty to uphold The Way. This lifelong test is our path to perfection.
This is also another verse that shows that there is no 'rapture'. Just like Noah and his family in the flood, the wheat in the parable of the wheat and tares, and the return of our King, the holy and righteous will remain and be preserved. Those that have a perfect heart with Yahweh will remain.
Proverbs 11:5 The righteousness of the perfect (H8549- those having integrity, innocent) shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
Septuagint: Righteousness traces out blameless paths: but ungodliness encounters unjust dealing.
Isaiah 18:5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect (H8552- completely formed), and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, He shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
This is a prophecy of Ethiopia. Ethiopia then was lands belonging to the descendants of Ham, son of Noah. As the race of Adam is the white race, so was Egypt and the other territories of Ham. The Hamites eventually all race mixed and because of it were doomed and taken away. Ethiopia today is the result of race mixing. Ethiopia means 'sunburnt face'. Today Ethiopians are negroes.
Isaiah 26:2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
Psalm 118:19-20
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise Yahweh:
20 This gate of Yahweh, into which the righteous shall enter.
26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
26:4 Trust ye in Yahweh for ever: for in Yahweh is everlasting strength:
Perfect peace is H7965H7965 (shalom). Doubled for emphatic use, meaning completeness, safety, health, prosperity, peace with Yahweh especially with keeping the covenant relationship.
Hezekiah's sickness
Isaiah 38:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith Yahweh, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto Yahweh,
38:3 And said, Remember now, O Yahweh, I beseech thee, how I have walked before Thee in truth and with a perfect (H8003- whole) heart, and have done that which is good in Thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
The Septuagint has 'true heart'. Hezekiah followed Yahweh with a perfect heart and keeping the covenant relationship.
Isaiah 42:18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
42:19 Who is blind, but My servant? or deaf, as My messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect (H7999- at peace), and blind as Yahweh's servant?
42:20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
42:21 Yahweh is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
42:22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
42:24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not Yahweh, He against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in His ways, neither were they obedient unto His law.
42:25 Therefore He hath poured upon him the fury of His anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.
When we are at peace and we forget Yahweh after we become fat and lazy with His blessings we stray. Just as our ancestors did in ancient times, the same happens today. We call upon Yahweh to save us and when He does we forget Him and do our own thing. When we forget Yahweh or don't serve Him, we are breaking the covenant and are punished for it. All these history lessons are for our learning, so we may continue in The Way which leads us to having a perfect heart with Him.
Babylon judged.
The Babylonians were sent by Yahweh to punish the children of Israel for their idolatry and race mixing. The Babylonians were not mercyful, tender or delicate with Israel. Yahweh dealt with them also for their self exaltion.
Isaiah 47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
The virgin daughter of Babylon/Chaldeans refers to the once Adamic Genesis chapter 10 nations. Egypt was Ham, the Assyrians were Asshur (Shemites), Babylonians were a branch of Aram (Shemite), the generations of Adam were as the definition of Adam states, rosy, ruddy, able to show blood in the face. Fair, comely. There is only one race that this describes.
47:2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
The corruption of the Babylonians. This also tells of our whoring with Mystery Babylon.
47:3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.
47:4 As for our redeemer, Yahweh of hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel.
Jeremiah 50:34 Their (Israel's) Redeemer is strong; Yahweh of hosts is His name: He shall throughly plead their cause, that He may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
47:5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
1Samuel 2:9 He will keep the feet of His saints (Israel), and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
47:6 I was wroth with My people (Israel), I have polluted Mine inheritance, and given them into thine (the Babylonians) hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
47:7 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.
47:8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
47:9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection (H8537- integrity, completeness) for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
Nahum 3:4 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.
Verse 9 is a reference to pharmaceuticals. They had concoctions then, today we have the medical industry. Is not everybody on some sort of medication(s)(sss)?
The enchantments are the media, movies, drugs, porn, gambling, materialism, religions, etc.
In the 27th chapter of the first book of Adam And Eve we read the following: “1 When Satan, the hater of all good, saw how they continued in prayer, and how God communed with them, and comforted them, and how He had accepted their offering (sounds like 19th century America) — Satan made an apparition. 2 He began with transforming his hosts; in his hands was a flashing fire, and they were in a great light (stage light). 3 He then placed his throne near the mouth of the cave (TV) because he could not enter into it by reason of their prayers. And he shed light into the cave, until the cave glistened over Adam and Eve; while his hosts began to sing praises. 4 And Satan did this, in order that when Adam saw the light, he should think within himself that it was a heavenly light, and that Satan’s hosts (every Jew in Hollywood) were angels; and that God had sent them to watch at the cave, and to give him light in the darkness. 5 So that when Adam came out of the cave and saw them, and Adam and Eve bowed to Satan (every night), then he would overcome Adam thereby, and a second time humble him before God, 6 When, therefore, Adam and Eve saw the light, fancying it was real, they strengthened their hearts; yet, as they were trembling, Adam said to Eve:— 7 ‘Look at that great light, and at those many songs of praise, and at that host standing outside that do not come in to us, do not tell us what they say, or whence they come, or what is the meaning of this light; what those praises are; wherefore they have been sent hither, and why they do not come in.’”
The heading of the chapter reads: “The second tempting of Adam and Eve. The devil takes on the form of a beguiling light.” We Two Seedliners also know that today’s “Jews” are Satan’s literal children fulfilling his desires. Notice here that Satan is in the form of a “flashing fire.” That is exactly what moving pictures and television are (a series of flashing lights from a carbon arc powered projector or television picture tube).
47:10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
47:11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
1Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
The Babylonians did not have righteous integrity and their hearts were completely for evil.
Jeremiah 23:18 For who hath stood in the counsel of Yahweh, and hath perceived and heard His word? who hath marked His word, and heard it?
23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of Yahweh is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
23:20 The anger of Yahweh shall not return, until He have executed, and till He have performed the thoughts of His heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly (H998- with understanding, discernment).
23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
23:22 But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
The people back then chose to race mix and worship other gods when the true prophets were giving them warning from Yahweh. The people chose to listen to the false prophets and continue their unrighteous lifestyles. The same thing happens today. The “churches” are to blame because they are without understanding and lack discernment. If they heard the words of Yahweh they would turn from their evil ways and false doctrines. More “churches” than ever in history, more lies and evil than ever.
Lamentations 2:13 What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?
Daniel 9:12 And He hath confirmed His words, which He spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.
Read about the false prophets of Jeremiah chapters 28 and 29. Hananiah, Kolaiah and Shemaiah.
2:15 All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection (H3632- entirety) of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?
Of course the enemy will mock us when we make like we are righteous when we are not practicing righteousness.
2:16 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.
2:17 Yahweh hath done that which He had devised; He hath fulfilled His word that He had commanded in the days of old: He hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and He hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, He hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.
Psalm 38:16 For I (David) said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
Days of old- Dueteronomy 28 Leviticus 26 the curses of disobedience and the blessings of obedience.
Ezekiel chapter 16 is Judgment upon Israel
Strong parallel to Jeremiah chapter 2. Much of the sin in Jerusalem is due to the people allowing themselves to be infiltrated by the Hittites and Canaanites.
In Deuteronomy 7 and 12 are the warnings that Israel received that they were to destroy the peoples of the Canaanites and their idols and not to be ensnared by them.
Exodus 23:33, they shall not dwell in your land lest they make you sin against Me.
The same thing happened again here in America.
Judgment upon Israel for race mixing.
16:8 Now when I passed by you, and looked upon you, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread My skirt over you, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto you, and entered into a covenant with you, saith Yahweh GOD, and thou becamest Mine.
This was when Israel was married to Yahweh at Sinai during the wilderness.
16:9 Then washed I you with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from you, and I anointed you with oil.
16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen (nations) for thy beauty: for it was perfect through My comeliness, which I had put upon you, saith Yahweh GOD.
The pure blood of the white race (Adamic man).
The Septuagint reads: “: because it was perfected with elegance, and in the comeliness which I put upon thee, saith Yahweh.”
Perfect is H3632, entire, all, perfect, whole, complete.
It also means (specifically a sacrifice entirely consumed).
The context is the magnificence, ornament or splendor:- beauty, comeliness, excellencey, glorious, goodly, honour, magesty of Yahweh who made us in His image. Yahweh made awdawm in His own image. When He breathed His Spirit (DNA) into Adam, Adam then became the father of the race that remained pure blooded and could hold the Spirit. The other races are not descendants of Adam. That is why the Bible is the (heritage and history) book of the generations (descent, family) of Adam. Our race is a family, born from above into this world to build and establish the kingdom. Christ is Yahweh in the flesh (of the Adamic race), who demonstrated His laws and Ways perfectly, and received what He promises us if we follow The Way. That perfected image was Yahshua Christ. Christ was specifically a sacrifice for us, and was able to die for us because He was perfect. The command is still in effect, He demands that we do not race mix, which destroys the holy seedline. Queen Elizabeth II is a direct pure blooded white descendant of David. Our race still continues through the twelve tribes of Jacob that remained 'perfect' in their descent. Don't race mix.
16:15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
16:16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.
This is all describing race mixing. Our garments is our skin color.
16:20 Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto Me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,
16:21 That thou hast slain My children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?
Race mixing, abortion, sending them off to fight wars that only support causes of the Jews.
Septuagint: 21 and didst slay thy children, and gavest them up in offering them to them for an expiation.
Pass through the fire is a reference to sacrificing children to Molech (Baal, the Lord, Satan). Today it happens in secret society rituals and out in public at the abortion clinics.
16:22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
Septuagint: 22 This is beyond all thy fornication, and thou didst not remember thine infancy, when thou wast naked and bare, and didst live though defiled in thy blood.
Naked (H6191): to be or make bare (through the idea perhaps of smoothness) to be cunning (usually in a bad sense): - X very, beware, take crafty [counsel], be prudent, deal subtilly.
Bare (H6172): figuratively (disgrace, blemish): - nakedness, shame, unclean (-ness).
16:23 And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto you! saith Yahweh GOD;)
16:24 That thou hast also built unto you an eminent place, and hast made you an high place in every street.
Septuagint: 24 that thou didst build thyself a house of fornication, and didst make thyself a public place in every street;
16:25 Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
Septuagint: 25 and on the head of every way thou didst set up thy fornications, and didst defile thy beauty, and didst open thy feet to every passer by, and didst multiply thy fornication.
16:26 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke Me to anger.
Geneva has 'great of flesh' as: “...which have great members...”
16:27 Behold, therefore I have stretched out My hand over you, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered you unto the will of them that hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.
The word food is italicized, meaning it was added.
The phrase 'ordinary food' is a reference to abolishing your statutes and ordinances. When a nation is conquered it's the law of the conqueror that prevails.
Just like today, we don't follow scriptural statutes and ordinances, we follow what the Jews and “churches” are telling us to do, be and have.
How can we be perfect if we do not perfectly follow Yahweh?
Ezekiel 27:1 The word of Yahweh came again unto me, saying,
27:2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
27:3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith Yahweh GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect (H3632- complete, whole) beauty.
Isaiah 23:3 And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart (emporium, trader, merchandiser) of nations.
Sihor is a stream of Egypt. The reference is the darker mixed races, Canaanites, merchants.
27:4 Thy (Tyre's) borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected (H3634- completed, made perfect) thy beauty.
27:5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.
Senir is the town of Manasseh, east of the Jordan. 1 Chr 5:23.
27:6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
Bashan is the land of Reuben, north of the plains of Moab.
The Israelite tribe of Ashur, they were ship builders, Phoenecians.
27:7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered you.
Elishah is a son of Javan. Japethites.
27:8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in you, were thy pilots.
Zidon is an area dominated by Israelites, but Canaanites dwelt there as well.
Arvad is an island off the coast of Syria. Mentioned in Assyrian inscriptions.
27:9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in you thy calkers (council): all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in you to occupy thy merchandise.
Gebal is a famous Phoenician city on the coast of Syria.
27:10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in you; they set forth thy comeliness.
27:11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims (guards) were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect (H3634H3308- these completed thy beauty).
There are two Luds. Lud are the Lydians, of Shem (Gen 10). Which is in western Anatolia.
The Lud and Phut here are Hamites.
Phut are the Libyans.
Verses 12-31 go on to name more names and places and reveal that this language is identical to that of Revelation 18 and the vision of the future fall of Babylon. The global trade system we see here in the ancient world, just as today. We are the latest victims. We forget who we are, our purpose, and fall to the desires of Satan. Then destruction is emminent.
This is what happens when we do not seek and practice perfection.
Ezekiel 28:11 Moreover the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying,
28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith Yahweh GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect (H3632- entire, whole) in beauty.
Septuagint has “...;Thou art a seal of resemblance, and crown of beauty.”
28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in you in the day that thou wast created.
The Septuagint starts as: 13 “Thou wast in the delight of the paradise of God;...”
The 'garden of God' is a metaphor for the children of Yahweh. Our race. We are a delight when we obey and remain pure and separate.
28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set you so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
The 'mountain of God' is also a reference to the children of Israel.
The Septuagint: 14 From the day that thou wast created thou wast with the cherub: I set you on the holy mount of God; thou wast in the midst of the stones of fire.
28:15 Thou wast perfect (H8549- complete, innocent, having integrity) in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in you.
Septuagint 15 Thou wast faultless in thy days, from the day that thou wast created, until iniquity was found in you.
We can be perfect in heart with Yahweh, and we can fall away too. There is no such thing as 'once saved always saved'.
28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
The they are those around the king of Tyre that have caused him to sin through ungodly trade and commerce. These were the merchants, who are Canaanites and Edomites (Jews).
'O covering cherub'. Cherubs protected the garden of God.
Septuagint: 16 Of the abundance of thy merchandise thou hast filled thy storehouses with iniquity, and hast sinned: therefore thou hast been cast down wounded from the mount of God, and the cherub has brought you out of the midst of the stones of fire.
Stones of fire, we are living stones.
28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom (knowledge) by reason of thy brightness (splendor): I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
Septuagint also has: “...because of the multitude of thy sins I have cast you to the ground,...”
28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick (trade); therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
28:19 All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
Yahweh is pretty serious about being racially pure and daily practicing living in The Way.
So we can see in the Old Testament that 'perfect' has several meanings in their appropriate contexts.
We saw that Noah is perfect in his generations (lineage, and heart).
Abraham was perfect in his ways and faith (and lineage).
Sacrifices were to be only of perfect animals, no blemishes, breaks or deformities.
Yahweh's ways and works are perfect, and His revealing of casting lot.
We also saw that we must be perfect in keeping the covenant relationship, which is basically our marriage vows to Him. To follow His laws, commandments, statutes, ordinances and judgments.
We also saw that being perfect is also being blameless, faultless, and morally and ethically pure.
Now we will look at the New Testament.
These verses in the NT demonstrate that we must seek perfect understanding and live according to it. We will see that it is used in a wide range of applications. Such as follows:
Being perfect with integrity and virtue.
Of perfect health or made whole.
Strengthened or restored, to make one what he ought to be.
To understand more perfectly, accurate, exact.
Completion, meaning our fruits brought to accomplishment or fulfullment.
Complete or whole, of the same mind and heart.
Perfect in accordance with the strictness of the Mosaic law.
The perfect will of Yahweh- proving it by conforming to His will.
Perfect in maturity and of full age.
Perfecting Holiness which is accomplishing sanctity. Living 'set apart' from all unrighteousness.
Made perfect- to add what is yet wanting in order to render a thing full, growth, mental character. Yahweh, the truth, and willingness does this. It's also equiping, making fit, furnishing, putting in order the things that will bring us to perfection.
Paul understood that perfection is ongoing and no one has attained it yet, but Christ.
Perfect also refers to the perfect sacrifice of Yahshua Christ.
Moral and spiritual perfection.
The perfect law of liberty- Living as we should, not as we please. We lack nothing when we choose obedience and allegiance.
Perfect faith (allegiance) is those works carried out completely.
When we love our kinsmen, Yahweh dwells in us and His love is perfected in us.
And we must be watchful, because we are not always perfect and our works are not complete, fulfilled, or accomplished YET!
Observe...
Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love your neighbour, and hate your enemy.
Yahshua is talking about our personal Israelite enemies, this discourse being to and about the children of Israel. He is not talking about His non racial enemies – the enemies of our God, which can be observed in the references below.
Deuteronomy 23:6 Thou shalt not seek their (enemies of God) peace nor their prosperity all your days for ever.
Psalm 8: 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast You ordained strength because of Your enemies, that You mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Psalm 92: 9 For, lo, Your enemies, O Yahweh, for, lo, Your enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. 10 But my horn shalt You exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. 11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
Psalm 139: 21 Do not I hate them, O Yahweh, that hate You? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against You? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
The enemies of God, Christians must expect God to keep them from us so long as we are willing to be obedient to His will. Yet they are not the subject here in Matthew 5. Our personal Israelite enemies, those of our own race who wrong us, those we must be merciful towards as our Father is merciful to us. And we should be kind towards all Israelites, towards all Adamic men, and not only those who are our near kin or whom we happen to be acquainted with. Our race is a family, a household.
Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shalt love your neighbour (kinsmen) as thyself: I am Yahweh.
5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies (of kin), bless them (of kin) that curse you, do good to them (of kin) that hate you, and pray for them (of kin) which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
5:48 Be ye therefore perfect (G5046- of integrity and virtue), even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (G5046- of integrity and virtue).
The second great commandment is to love thy brethren. When we do this, we have a perfect heart towards Yahweh.
PERFECT G5046 teleios From G5056 telos (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. ; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with G3588 the definite article- the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.) completeness: - of full age, man, perfect.
G5056 is also compared to G5411 phoros - a load (as borne), that is, (figuratively) a tax (properly an individual assessment on persons or property.
Let's break the definitions down.
To set out for a definite point or goal. That would be The Word, which also means The Plan.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Christ demonstrated the Plan perfectly. Obey in this flesh and have life.
The point aimed at as a limit or conclusion of an act or state. That would be Christ demonstrating the example, or model, we are to follow to achieve perfection.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
Termination. That is what happens when you do not follow The Way.
Result. Immediate, ultimate or prophetic death.
Impost or levy (as paid). That would be Christ. Without His perfection He would not have been able to die for our sins. He paid the price. When we do not obey and live in The Way we will pay a price, and it won't be good.
1Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1Corinthians 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
7:24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
Continual. We must continually strive for perfection. Imitating Christ.
Psalm 119:44 So shall I keep Thy law continually for ever and ever.
Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Custom. The Bible is our heritage and history. It is not our religion, it is our way of life. It is also a tribute, toll or tax for the flesh body we live in. We owe Yahshua Christ our sincere, constant, and continual obedience.
Luke 2:42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
Along with many other customs and traditions we have, do you also observe the feast days? This Bible is not about the Jews, who are descendants of Cain and of Esau. This Bible is about our race, our family, our kinsmen. We are the true sons of Jacob and children of the Most High. How can one be perfect if they do not know and understand one's history?
End, ending. It matters how we live until the end.
Ultimate state or condition; final doom.
Psalm 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
Ezekiel 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Matthew 24:42 Watch (be vigilant) therefore: for ye know not what hour your Prince doth come.
Finally.
At the end or conclusion; ultimately; lastly.
If we endure and abide, we will finally achieve perfection.
Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Uttermost.
a. [utter and most.] Extreme; being in the furthest, greatest or highest degree.
n. The greatest. The uttermost we can do is to be patient.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Prince unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be preserved.
Complete. In labor, character, and moral growth. Perfection is an ongoing practice, hence the test of this life. Completely with Yahweh and no other.
Now back to the verses demonstrating what perfect is.
Matthew 14:35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of Him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto Him all that were diseased;
14:36 And besought Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
G1295- diasozo, cure one who is sick.
The use is referring to health and preservation, safety.
Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
19:17 And He said unto him, Why callest you Me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
19:18 He saith unto Him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, (Ex 20:13, Deut 5:17)
19:19 Honour your father and your mother: and, Thou shalt love your neighbour as thyself.
'Neighbor', here in the Greek is 'plesion' which refers to close, or near kinsmen. Neighbor does not mean anyone of another race.
19:20 The young man saith unto Him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
19:21 Jesus said unto him, If you wilt be perfect (G5046- of integrity and virtue), go and sell that you hast, and give to the poor, and you shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow Me.
19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Thayer Definition: 2) wanting nothing necessary to completeness
The young man wanted to be complete, but was unwilling to give up his earthy treasures. You can't have a perfect heart toward Yahshua Christ if you put other desires before Him.
Matthew 21:14 And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple; and He healed them.
21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
21:16 And said unto Him, Hearest you what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you hast perfected (G2675- strengthened) praise?
Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast you ordained (established) strength because of your enemies, that you mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Thayer Definition:
1) to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete
1c) ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be
Luke 1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration (report) of those things which are most surely believed (ascertained) among us,
This is a reference to the gospels, the eyewitness accounts of following Christ.
1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
Luke admits that he did not witness these things himself, but rather that they were transmitted to him by those who did witness them.
1:3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect (G199- exact, accurate) understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
The original Greek for 'first' here means 'from above'. G509
Luke is using the word Theophilus as a literary device, as it means “lover of God”, as an address for whoever is reading his writing at any given time, since he should expect none but a “lover of God” to be reading them. It is no different than a modern writer using the term “dear reader”. Theophilus is not a reference to any particular person.
Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the dispersed Nations are turned to God:
1:4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
When Yahshua Christ came, He brought and taught the gospel message to the house of Judah, those Israelites still living in Judaea. The house of Israel had been scattered across the empire and into Europe since the days of the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. These 'lost' Israelites forgot who they were and became ignorant and/or pagan. Paul was sent to bring the gospel to these dispersed nations of Israel.
Luke 6:39 And He spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect (G2675) shall be as his master.
Thayer Definition:
1) to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete
1a) to mend (what has been broken or rent), to repair
1a1) to complete
1b) to fit out, equip, put in order, arrange, adjust
1b1) to fit or frame for one’s self, prepare
1c) ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be
Christ is the Master of perfection. He demonstrated it perfectly.
When we walk in The Way, when we imitate Him, we are also demonstrating perfection. When we are not doing these things, we are not being perfect.
Can we be perfect all the time? No. But we can show Him that we actively seek to be perfect. It's the effort that matters. The test is to continue being perfect.
Luke 8:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to Him out of every city, He spake by a parable:
Christ always spoke in parables when there were more than just Israelites in the crowd.
8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
8:6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
8:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when He had said these things, He cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
8:9 And His disciples asked Him, saying, What might this parable be?
8:10 And He said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Isaiah 6:9 And He (Yahweh) said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
The gospel is for the children of Israel. Not all of Israel will hear and understand.
8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Root in the Word comes only through study of the Word itself. If your knowledge is deep, you will not be easily shaken. If you merely “just believe” the message your knowledge is shallow.
8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection (G5052- completion).
We either care for the Word, and pursue the things of Yahweh, and live the life of a true Christian Israelite, or we care for the world and pursue worldly things. No man can serve two masters, God and mammon.
8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Keeping the word is not “just believing”. It's following Yahweh's laws, observing the feast days and all the other traditions of our heritage. It's loving our brethren. It's building the kingdom. It's living with a perfect heart towards Yahweh and not society. Yahweh first!
Luke 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto Him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
13:32 And He said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected (G5048- complete, accomplished, fulfilled).
Christ lived a mortal life just as we do. He had His share of trials and temptations, and passed the test with a 100% A+.
Christ prays to the Father just before the Jew Judas betrays Him.
John 17:14 I have given them Thy word; and the world (society) hath hated them, because they are not of the world (society), even as I am not of the world (society).
1John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
17:15 I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world (society), but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Verse 15 shows that even Christ didn't believe in the “rapture”. He certainly did not teach it.
He prays that they be preserved under His protection while in this evil society.
This life is our trial, our test. The only way to pass is to imitate His example.
17:16 They are not of the world (society), even as I am not of the world (society).
17:17 Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth.
17:18 As Thou hast sent Me into the world (society), even so have I also sent them into the world (society).
17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
Sanctify means, to make holy, blameless, clean, separated.
Isaac's seed was sanctified. Israel is a holy, separated people from all others. Called.
1Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word;
The Gospels, Paul's epistles, and those whom the Spirit gives understanding to teach the truth.
17:21 That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world (society) may believe that Thou hast sent Me.
17:22 And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
1John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Yahshua Christ.
17:23 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect (G5048- complete) in one; and that the world (society) may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world (society).
17:25 O righteous Father, the world (society) hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent Me.
17:26 And I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
Christ is the body, we are His members. Only when we have a perfect heart towards Him can we have a bond of perfectness. We live in this satanic society but we can choose not to participate in what we can control when in this society. If you agree with society and the way of life living in this society, then you cannot be perfect with Yahweh.
Acts 3:16 And His (Yahshua Christ's) name through faith (allegiance) in His name hath made this man (the lame man) strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith (allegiance) which is by Him (Christ) hath given him (the lame man) this perfect soundness (G3647) in the presence of you all.
Of an unimpaired condition of the body, in which all its members are healthy and fit for use; good health.
Because he was an Israelite restored with knowledge and returned to The Way, hence allegiance.
Acts 18:24 And a certain Judaean named Apollos (an Israelite), born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
18:25 This man was instructed in the way of the Prince; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Prince, knowing only the baptism of John.
18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly (G197- more exactly).
Aquila and Priscilla understood the difference between water baptism and baptism in the word.
They took Apollos aside and explained these things along with the end of the sacrifices.
Baptism in water was a commission to John the Baptist in order to cleanse the Levitical priesthood, which had been infiltrated and corrupted by the Jews, and to prepare Christ for the last sacrifice.
Malachi 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto Yahweh an offering in righteousness.
There are a few different baptisms. Baptism by water, fire, death, knowledge and understanding of the truth (Word). We must seek true knowledge and understanding, which is the only way to know Yahweh. Immersed in the truth, with knowledge and understanding. No ritual, man or water can do anything for you. There is no mediator between you and Christ. Only with perfect (more exact) understanding can we be one with Yahshua.
Paul is escorted out of Jerusalem under Roman guard. He is taken to Caesarea so that governor Felix can decide what to do with him.
Paul is addressing the mob.
He addresses them in Hebrew, so they listen.
Paul's citizenship saves him from scourging, Paul, being born in Tarsus, and being a citizen of Tarsus thereby being also a Roman citizen, had many more legal rights than Christ.
Acts 22:1 Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
22:2 (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
22:3 I am verily a man which am a Judaean, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner (G195) of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. (2 Cor 11:22)
22:4 And I persecuted this way (The Way) unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
Paul was raised a Pharisee. The Pharisees were a sect of the priesthood that had been infiltrated by Jews which took the torah of Moses and corrupted it into the 'traditions of the elders', or Judaism, which is also Talmudism. Today our “churches” teach this doctrine as Judeo-Christianity.
Perfect manner is G195, used only once, and means, exactness, exactest care: in accordance with the strictness of the Mosaic law.
One of the differences between what the torah teaches and what the Pharisees taught was mercy. The Pharisees used the law to control the people and to change and add to it to suit their own authority and desires. Christ taught the law as well, but He also taught to have mercy and compassion to those that sincerely repent, conform and return to The Way.
Paul stands before the Sanhedrin (22:30-23:10).
(Acts 23:3) Paul calls high priest Ananias a “whitened wall” and warns that God would smite him. The fulfillment is recorded by Josephus (Wars 2.17.9). Slain with his brother by robbers.
Paul pits the Sadducees against the Pharisees over the resurrection.
Jesus tells Paul that he will bear witness of Him in Rome (Acts 23:11)
The plot against Paul's life (Acts 23:12-22) Jews (40+) make a vow not to eat or drink until Paul is dead.
Acts 23:11 And the night following the Prince stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of Me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
23:12 And when it was day, certain of the Judaeans banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
23:13 And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
23:14 And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
23:15 Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly (G197- more exactly) concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
In Acts chapter 23, after a plot against Paul's life was revealed to the Roman military tribune, Paul is sent under arms and cloak of night to the residence of the Roman procurator in Caesareia. Upon his arrival there the procurator accepted Paul as his prisoner, when he declared that he would hear his case. This is in spite of the fact that Paul had not violated any Roman laws, but as the Roman commander had written to the governor, he found the Jews “accusing him concerning inquires of their law, and having not one accusation worthy of death or of bonds.”
Paul before Felix (Acts 24:1-27).
A Prisoner in Caesarea.
Paul, refusing the offer to have his trial in Jerusalem, requests his case be heard by Caesar. Festus agrees and soon sends him off to Rome.
Acts 24:22 And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge (G1492 G197) of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
Governor Felix holds Paul as a prisoner in Caesarea for more than two years. Felix does this because he hopes to be bribed into an early release (Acts 24:26-27). When Porcius Festus replaces Felix as governor in 60 A.D. the case against the apostle is repeated.
G1492 is to see, perceive, understand, discern, ascertain what must be done.
G197 is more exactly, more perfectly.
Paul explains in chapter 12 that we are all pieces of the same body, each with different functions.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy (set apart), acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
12:2 And be not conformed to this world (age): but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect (G5046- complete), will of God.
Notice the last part of verse 2, “that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The Greek reads: “towards approval by you to do that which is the good and acceptable and perfect will of Yahweh.”
When Christ died the priesthood and the sacrificial rituals were done away with. No more simply bringing a goat to kill for your sin. No more mediator of man and ritual between you and God. Christ became the high priest and mediator. We must present our bodies a living sacrifice. We must be set apart (holy) from this corrupt world and this satanic society and not partake in it's abominations. We must come to the truth and be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Our hearts and minds must be towards Yahweh.
We must prove that we know what is good (Yahweh), and acceptable (obedience), and perfect (brought to it's end, wanting nothing necessary to completeness, integrity and virtue), will (plan, commands, Way) of God.
The Word is The Plan which is The Will of God. Yahshua Christ is The Word and He perfectly executed The Plan which is The Will of God. All we have to do it follow The Way, which is The Word, Plan, and Will of God. If we do this we will have Life. But we must know The Truth and follow it.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
1Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Prince Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together (G2675- complete, sound) in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
2Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Being perfectly joined together with Prince Yahshua means having knowledge and understanding of who you are, Whose you are, Who He is, who the enemy is, what it means and requires to be a Christian, what our true history and heritage is, what our duty is and just exactly what it is to be in a perfect covenant relationship with our Father. It's waaay more than “just believing”!
True wisdom
1Corinthians 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony (mystery) of God.
2:2 For I determined not to know (acknowledge) any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Paul came as an ambassador of Yahweh and not of his own philosophy.
2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (G5046- mature, accomplished): yet not the wisdom of this world (age), nor of the princes of this world (age), that come to nought: (Heb 5:14)
2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world (ages) unto (for) our glory (honor):
2:8 Which none of the princes of this world (age) knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Greek has: “...they would not have crucified the Authority of that honor.”
Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints:
The wisdom of this age is worthless, with it your not accomplished. To be a Christian and love your brother and be obedient to Yahweh makes you accomplished.
2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.
John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him.
“The Authority of that honor”. Our faith (allegiance) with Christ is our obedience to Him and our constant way of life in following The Way. Christ lived according to The Way, perfectly, and achieved the glory and honor of that which God hath prepared for them that follow Him. Christ is the Authority of that honor, He is the path to that honor. He is the example, the role model.
The Love Chapter
1Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues (languages) of men and of angels (messengers), and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Without love, he is just a bunch of annoying noise.
13:2 And though I have the gift of (the interpretation of) prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith (moral conviction), so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing.
Without love, all these gifts are nothing.
13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profiteth me nothing.
Without love toward our brethren, we are nothing. There are 2 great commandments. Love thy God, and love thy brethren. If you love your kinsman, you cannot break any of the other commandments. You would be.............'perfect'.
13:4 Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
13:8 Love never faileth: but whether there be (interpretations of) prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues (languages), they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
Original Greek: 9 By destiny we know, and by destiny we interpret prophecy.
13:10 But when that which is perfect (G5046- accomplished) is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Greek: 12 For now we see through a mirror in riddles, but then face to face; now I know by destiny, but then I will recognize just as also I have been recognized.
2Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face (appearance) beholding as in a glass the glory of the Prince, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Prince.
2Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith-allegiance, not by sight:)
13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
The churches teach the gospel of “personal salvation”. The scriptures teach the gospel of brotherly love and the kingdom as a whole. This chapter 13 shows the opposite of personal salvation.
When the 'whole' abides in love, it's perfectly joined together.
1Corinthians 14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice (regards to wickedness) be ye children, but in understanding be men (G5046- mature, perfect).
Perfection requires understanding. A person with understanding of the Word has integrity and virtue, is mature in knowledge, grows in truth, and displays perfect mental and moral character.
When we are separate from idolatry and race mixing and partaking in the evils of society, we are blessed.
2Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Prince, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,
2Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness (G2005- accomplishing G42- sanctity) in the fear (awe) of God.
We cannot be perfect if we are not separate from that which we are to be separate from.
2Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me, My grace (favor) is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect (G5048) in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory (boast) in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Paul's weaknesses has him rely on Yahweh more.
This usage of G5048 is, to accomplish, to add what is yet wanting in order to render a thing full, growth, mental character.
2Corinthians 13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates (unapproved).
13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but in defense of truth.
13:9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection (G2676- strengthening, restoration).
13:10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness (severity), in accordance with the authority which the Prince hath given me to edification (building), and not to destruction.
13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect (G2675- restored, complete), be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
The Corinthians were a wealthy upperclass society. They were admonished by Paul and changed their ways. He prayed for their continuance in following The Way. He encouraged them to continue their strengthening and restoration of living the truth.
The function of the ritual law.
Galatians 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
Don't you understand His death yet?
The Keltic temperament, then, as now, has always been ardent and eager but easily influenced, and Paul reproached them for this instability.
3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law (rituals), or by the hearing of faith?
The Judaizers, false brethren, and the Jews were teaching that you were saved by the rituals.
3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect (G2005- accomplished, complete) by the flesh?
3:4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
If you don't understand His death, you accomplish nothing.
Hebrews 10:35-36
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience (endurance), that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
2John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought (engaged in), but that we receive a full reward.
The chapter goes on to explain the function of the sacrificial rituals.
Most of the Israelites didn't have faith or love for the law. They just went through the motions of the rituals insincerely. After a while, the Israelites lost their fear of Yahweh because they could just sacrifice an animal for their sin, and then sin some more.
The same happens today, people do not have love for the law, or the truth. They just go through the motions of sitting in their own pew on Sunday believing whatever they are told and do what they want the rest of the week.
When Christ died, the priesthood and ritual ordinances were “done away with”. The rituals never made anyone perfect, and neither does the self declaration of saying “I'm saved”. Scripture teaches that doing the will of God is what perfects us, and by continuing to do the will of God we might receive the promise. Christ received it, He set the example of how to do it.
In chapter 6, the context of the rituals is no longer the subject. Now Paul is talking about general living among each other.
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual (of the Spirit), restore (G2675- put in order, strengthen, perfect) such an one in the spirit of meekness (humility); considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted (tested).
Be humble in correction of your brethren and don't impose to the point of division.
6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Verse 2 is a rhetorical question. It's referring to the ego in verse 1.
2 Should you bear one anothers' burdens, and in that manner fulfill the law of the Anointed?
Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
1Thessalonians 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
6:3 For if a man think himself to be something (ego), when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
6:4 But let every man prove (scrutinize) his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing (boasting) in himself alone, and not in another.
6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
Is Paul saying in verse 2 that we should bear each others burden and here in verse 5 that every man should bear his own burden? No, Romans 2:6 Who (Yahweh) will render to every man according to his deeds:
Providing for your brethren is different than paying for his sins.
6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
6 He who is being instructed in the word must share in all good things with he who is teaching.
If you are wealthy, and are being instructed by someone who is knowledgeable in the word but is poor, you must help in ways you are able to contribute.
Ephesians 4:11 And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
4:12 For the perfecting (G2677- equipping, restoration) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Saints- the 'called out' seed of Abraham. The sons of Jacob. We are not Gentiles, we are the children of the Most High.
The “churches” teach that anybody who “believes” becomes a saint. But that is not what scripture teaches.
4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect (G5046- fulfilled, wanting nothing necessary to completeness) man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
The Greek: 13 until we all would attain to the unity of the faith and of the acknowledgment of the Son of Yahweh, at man perfected, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Anointed (group, people, Israelites);
Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Systemized deception. You may not get it yet, but this is speaking of today's “churches”.
Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
Pulled away from the milk of the word.
Obviously we are still being deceived. Millions in “church”, learning about every wind of doctrine of men, a Jewish Jesus, the “rapture”, that you are a “gentile”, and that the law was “done away with”. And my favorites, “just believe” and “once saved always saved”. And the self declaration of “I'm saved”. All lies and none scriptural.
We see that true knowledge and understanding are key to perfection.
Paul was raised a Pharisee. He followed the letter of the law as it was understood at that time, under the influence of the Edomite scribes and Pharisees. They boasted that they followed the law, or what was then the perverted 'traditions of men'. The law of Moses, altered.
Philipians 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching (concerning) the law, a Pharisee;
3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
Greek: 6 By zeal: persecuting the assembly. By righteousness that is in law: being blameless.
3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
7 The things that were gain to me, these I have regarded as loss on account of the Anointed (the group, the people, Israelites).
Paul as a Pharisee, thought he was doing right by persecuting the assemblies. Those he destroyed were a gain, but since his conversion, he now counts them for a loss among the 'saints'.
Matthew 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Paul was 'all in' when his eyes were opened.
3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency (prevailing) of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Prince: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win (gain) Christ,
Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities.
3:9 And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith (allegiance):
Only Christ had faith (allegiance). We must strive to attain the same allegiance (faith). Christ proved His faith, and only He was perfect in doing so.
3:10 That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;
3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of (from among) the dead.
3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect (G5048- fulfilled, accomplished): but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
12 Not that I have already received, or I am already perfected, but I pursue if also I may obtain, on the condition that I also have been obtained by Christ Yahshua.
We must have humility.
If Paul understands that being “saved” is not a one and done deal, how can today's “church” goers declare that? We should not be so sure or arrogant of ourselves. Proclaiming “oh, I'm saved”. Being “saved” is an ongoing thing. That's why the real meaning is preserved, or preservation. It has to do with this mortal life. We must continue imitating Christ's example. Preservation is an 'ongoing' thing.
3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended (obtained): but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before (ahead),
3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Why press toward the mark of the prize if you are already 'saved'?
3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect (G5046- mature, having integrity and virtue), be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Walk in the knowledge you gain.
We see from verse 15 that we can be perfect, but we can also not be perfect if we do not continue in pressing toward the mark.
Colossians 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature (creation) which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Paul is saying stay grounded in the OT and settled in the gospel that has been circulating since the crucifixion. (Luke 1:1-4)
Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith (allegiance); that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
John 15:6 If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
'Creature' should read 'creation'. Referring to the original, pure creations of Yahweh.
God created the horse, and the donkey, but He did not create the mule or mixed races.
Paul considered the Adamic race of man to be one creation. He defines Adamic man in Romans 8:18-39. Tobit 8:5-6,15 also is a witness.
Adamic man is the white, Anglo-Saxon races of Europe and America. The descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Of the tribes of Israel. The Anointed, called out, and separated from all other races.
Don't believe the lies that the Jews are God's people, maybe you will believe what Jesus said in many places, one being John 8:44.
1:24 Who (I, Paul) now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
Nobody can suffer on Christ's behalf. Paul suffered on behalf of the Anointed (group, seed of Isaac), who are the assemblies, the 'saints'. (Eph 3:13)
The Greek: 24 Now, I rejoice in these sufferings on your behalf, and I substitute for those deficiencies of the afflictions of the Anointed (the group) with my flesh on behalf of the body itself, which is the assembly;
1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation (administration of the household) of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; (Gal 2:7)
1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints:
26 the mystery which has been concealed from the ages and from the races, but now has been made visible to His saints,
The word 'generations' comes from 'genos' which means races.
The mystery was 'who the Israelites were'. Because of the dispersion of the House of Israel (the 10 northern tribes), both houses (Israel and Judah) forgot or lost their heritage and kinship to each other.
1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles (dispersed Nations); which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (Rom 9:23)
27 To whom Yahweh did wish to make known what the riches of the honor of this mystery are among the Nations, which is the expectation of honor anointed in you,
Christ comes from 'christos', it means anointed. It does not always refer to Christ, but the children of Israel, the group.
1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect (G5046- having integrity and virtue) in Christ Jesus:
28 Whom we declare, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom in order that we may present every man perfect among the Anointed (the group).
1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily.
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy (set apart) and beloved, bowels (affections) of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; (1 Pet 1:2)
Who are the 'elect'? The “believers”? No. Who was dedicated on the alter to Yahweh? The seed of Abraham. Isaac. The Anointed, called out, set apart, holy and sanctified children of Israel.
3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
3:14 And above all these things put on charity (love), which is the bond (joining) of perfectness (G5047- moral and spiritual perfection).
If you just follow the commandment of 'love your brethren', then you are walking in righteousness, perfection. Instead of trying to follow all the commandments, just obey the great commandment of loving your brethren.
Matthew 22:36-40
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love Yahweh thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Neighbor- the Greek word is 'plesion'. It means countrymen, brother, kin, someone near to you.
It does not mean neighbors of other races. If we were following Yahweh's law, we wouldn't be living among the other races. For He demands we be separate. Remember when America was founded by the white, Anglo-Saxon Nations of the tribes of Israel? Now look at us, a very unperfect melting pot of cultures, morals, beliefs and gods. Not holy (set apart).
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect (G5046- having integrity and virtue) and complete in all the will of God.
You can't be perfect if you do not do the will of God, or if you do not know the will of God.
1Thessalonians 3:8 For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Prince.
3:9 For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy (rejoice) for your sakes before our God; (?)
The KJV does not have verse 9 as a question. Verse 9 is a question in the original manuscripts.
Verse 10 is a reply, an answer to the question in verse 9.
3:10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect (G2675- furnish, put in order, strengthen) that which is lacking in your faith ?
Verse 10 is not a ? in the older manuscripts. It is a reply to the question in verse 9.
Understanding the word perfectly takes study, prayer, and the will of God to open your eyes. Ask and ye shall receive.
1Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
5:2 For yourselves know perfectly (G199- accurately) that the day of the Prince so cometh as a thief in the night. (Matt 24:3, 2 Pet 3:10)
2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine (beneficial for teaching), for reproof (evidence), for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect (G739- fitted), throughly furnished unto all good works.
17 That the man of Yahweh would be perfect, having prepared himself for all good works.
The scriptures are beneficial for correction. That instructs us to examine the evidence. Come off auto pilot and see if true scripture backs up “church” doctrine.
If you hold to a false doctrine, then you are not fitted for perfection.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace (favor) of God should taste death for every man.
G3956 is pas. Meaning, every, all, whosoever, collectively, the whole.
'Man' was added by the translators. It should read '...on behalf of all'. 'ALL' meaning Adamites. Specifically the seed of Abraham. The context of the scriptures regarding All, Every, and Whosoever, always refers to the Adamic race (white people), Israel, the seed of Abraham. The Jews are not Israel, they are of Cain and of Esau. Nowhere does the scriptures include the other races in the promises, covenants, heritage and inheritance that was given by Yahweh to His children.
Philippians 2:7-9
7 But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men (Adam):
8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him (Christ), and given Him a name which is above every name:
The name of our Kinsmen Redeemer is not Jesus, Jesus does not mean anything. The name above every name is Yahshua (Yah-God, Shua-Saves, Preserves).
2:10 For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons (of Adam) unto glory (honor), to make the captain (Originator) of their salvation perfect (G5048- complete, accomplished, fulfilled) through sufferings.
Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. (Luke 24:46, Rom 11:36)
To the world, or to all men? No, it says 'Israel'. Christ came only unto the lost sheep of Israel. His race, His people, His kinsmen, His family.
2:11 For both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of (sprung from) one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Christ is our brother. We are related. Yahshua Christ accomplished perfection. He is the Originator of perfection. He demonstrated perfection. If we simply follow what He tells us to do in this history book of our family's heritage and Way, then we will be brought to honor and be recognized as brethren. We would join those before us that kept themselves holy (set apart) from those that do not follow The Way.
This next part needed the whole chapter for a better understanding. The KJV is actually a poor translation of the scriptures. The original Greek will be used in a few places because it is more accurate and clearer.
Ritual Sacrifices
The reason for the sacrifices by the high priests.
Hebrews 5:1 For every high priest, being taken from among men, on behalf of men is established in the things pertaining to Yahweh, that he would offer both gifts and sacrifices for errors,
5:2 being able to bear reasonably with those who are ignorant and going astray, since he (the high priest) also is enveloped with weakness,
5:3 and on account of it he (the high priest) is obliged, just as for the people even for himself too, to offer for errors.
Paul is trying to show that Christ was not taken from among men. He is God among men. And what God has established is right for sin (the atonement/propitiation).
Leviticus 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Yahweh for a sin offering.
5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
2Chronicles 26:18 And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto you, Uzziah, to burn incense unto Yahweh, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for you hast trespassed; neither shall it be for your honour from Yahweh God. (Ex 28:1)
John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
The Levites were assigned to the duties of the priesthood. They performed the sacrifices and rituals. They were also men and therefore had to make offerings for their own sins as well as for the people.
5:5 So also Christ glorified (honored) not Himself to be made an high priest; but He (Yahweh) that said unto Him, Thou art My Son, to day have I begotten (engendered) Thee.
5:6 As He saith also in another place, You art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
(Psa 110:4)
5:7 Who in the days of His (Christ's) flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him (Yahweh) that was able to save (deliver) Him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
The last part should read: '...and He (Christ) was heard because of that devotion.'
5:8 Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;
5:9 And being made perfect (G5048- accomplished, finished, complete, fulfilled), He became the author of eternal salvation (deliverance) unto all them that obey Him;
5:10 Being addressed by Yahweh a high priest “in accordance with the order of Melchisedec.”
5:11 Concerning whom the account is lengthy for us and difficult in interpretation to speak, since you have been sluggish in hearing.
John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear (receive) them now.
2Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest (pervert), as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2Peter 2:4-8
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5 And spared not the old world (society), but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world (society) of the ungodly;
6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation (conduct) of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
5:12 For even you are obliged to be teachers, because of the time. Again you have need of one to teach you from the beginning the many elements of the oracles of Yahweh; and have come having need of milk, not of solid food.
Paul is telling them that they have not grown in the knowledge of the word, so now he has to start from the beginning again.
5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful (inexperienced) in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
1Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
1Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:
5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age (G5046- perfect, mature, of integrity and virtue), even those who by reason of use (habit) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Isaiah 7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
1Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
You are either born with the Spirit, by being of the race of Adam, or you are not. The spiritual man has the Spirit (DNA) of Yahweh. The natural man does not, and cannot receive the things of Yahweh. Broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
Melchizedec – is a title, the King of Righteousness (Gen 14:18)
In chapter 5 Paul is using Melchizedec as a model to show his Hebrew brethren that the Levitical priesthood is not the end game. It's not the priesthood of the highest authority. There were higher authorities in the ancient days higher than the Levitical priesthood which came later. Levi was one of the twelve sons of Jacob.
The King of Righteousness is the oldest living male in the line of Adam, Adam being the first preacher of righteousness. After Adam died it went to Seth. Then Enosh, Cainan, Mahlaleel, Jared, and Methuselah. Noah was the 10th patriarch, but the eighth preacher of righteousness because Enoch was taken by Yahweh and Methuselah outlived his son Lamech.
Abraham's older brother Nahor was the reigning preacher of righteousness of His time. Chapter 7 tells of Abraham paying tithes to Melchisedec.
So basically, we have the eldest living patriarchs in the days before Jacob as the high priests the preachers of righteousness. When Levi was born to Jacob, Yahweh appointed Levi and his children as the priestly tribe, this begun the Levitical priesthood. The priests were the ones who performed the ritual sacrifices for the atonement of sins. John the Baptist was a Levite and performed the last ritual on Yahshua Christ. Then the priesthood was done away with, because Christ was the last sacrifice, He is now the reigning High Priest.
Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles (account) of the doctrine (origin) of Christ, let us go on unto perfection (G5047- completeness); not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works (sacrificial rituals), and of faith toward God,
6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not as though I had already attained (received), either were already perfect (accomplished): but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended (obtained) of (by) Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended (obtained): but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before (ahead),
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.
Christ admonished the Pharisees over the minor details and leaving the greater questions of morality untouched. The rituals of the law had become more important than the law itself, or the meaning of the law.
The above section tells a different story than “once saved, always saved”. Being “saved” is an ongoing thing. Read Philippians 3:14 above again. If Paul “just believed” and was “saved” or was “perfect”, then what does verse 14 mean?
Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection (G5050- fulfillment) were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Aaron, who was Moses' brother, was a Levite. Aaron and his sons were the priesthood from the Exodus on. They held the duties of the priesthood and made propitiation for the people
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace (favor) of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Hebrews 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
The second covenant replaced and reinforced the first, because the Levitical priesthood was for a specific purpose and meant to expire. Christ became the High Priest and mediator.
7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
A change has taken place, Christ's death, so the priesthood and it's duties ended.
The “churches” teach that the law has been “done away with”. Only the priesthood and sacrifices were over, or “done away with”.
7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
7:14 For it is evident that our Prince sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
The set up of the Levitical priesthood was temporary. Christ is now our High Priest.
7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
7:17 For it is testified of Him that “You are a priest for the ages in accordance with the order of Melchisedec.”
7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Galatians 4:9 But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto you desire again to be in bondage?
In verse 18, Paul is talking about the disannulling of the commandment of the ritual sacrifices, not the 10 commandments or the food laws.
7:19 (for the law has perfected nothing) and an introduction of a better expectation through which we approach Yahweh.
Acts 13:39 And by Him all that believe (follow, obey) are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Romans 3:20-21,28
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law (rituals) there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith (allegiance) without the deeds of the law (rituals).
The law is for the unrighteous. The deeds (rituals) were the propitiation for the sins of the unrighteous. The purpose is for our learning and instruction. The law itself cannot justify us, only imitating the example of Christ justifies us, our faith (allegiance) to Yahweh.
7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath He was made priest:
The Levites were priests by birth.
7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by Him that said unto Him, Yahweh sware and will not repent (change), Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament (covenant).
Hebrews 8:6 But now He has obtained a more distinguished office, and by so much better a covenant is He mediator, by which better promises are ordained by law.
7:23 And they (Levites) truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
7:24 But He, because He is to abide for the ages, has the untransferable priesthood.
7:25 Wherefore He is able also to save (preserve) them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; (Heb 4:15)
7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for His own sins, and then for the people's: for this He did once, when He offered up Himself.
Leviticus 9:7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as Yahweh commanded.
7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore (perfected for the ages).
So we can see in chapter 7 that the priesthood went through stages. The eldest living male of the race of Adam was high priest until the days of Abraham, proclaiming righteousness and setting an example. Then the Levites were the priesthood for the children of Israel because the law given on Mt Sinai, when disobeyed, required propitiation for sins. This 'covering over' (propitiation) was temporary. This was a shadow of things to come. When Christ died, the priesthood was no longer needed, Christ made the final propitiation and assumed the role as High Priest, forever.
Hebrews 9:1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances (deeds) of divine service, and a worldly (earthly) sanctuary.
Exodus 25:8 And let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
The ordinances were the deeds (works) of the rituals, performed by the Levitical priesthood. The earthly sanctuary is referring to the Temples built with hands. These were part of the Old Covenant. Our ancestors needed the sacrificial rituals because Christ did not come till much later.
9:2 A tabernacle was prepared, the first, in which was the lampstand and the table and the presentation of the wheat loaves which is called Holy.
Exodus 26:1 Moreover you shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt you make them.
9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
Exodus 26:31 And you shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:
9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded (sprouted), and the tables of the covenant (10 Commandments);
9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat (lid); of which we cannot now speak particularly.
9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained (prepared), the priests went always (continually) into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
Paul is describing the way in which the priesthood operated.
9:7 But into the second (tabernacle, veil) went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: (Ex 30:10)
The Greek ends this verse as: '...and the faults of ignorance of the people;
9:8 This signifying the Holy Spirit, that not yet has the way of the saints been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having a standing,
The transition from the ritual laws and the earthly tabernacles, into the Holy Spirit inhabiting the new tabernacle, our bodies.
In other words, in the Old Covenant, the Levitical priesthood made propitiation for the people as well as themselves. The New Covenant replaced the Old because Christ was the last sacrifice and now our High Priest. That's why the rituals ceased. Not the law and commandments and food laws.
9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present (the earthly tabernacle), in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect (G5048- complete, accomplished, fulfilled), as pertaining to the conscience;
Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
The law is for the unrighteous for correction. The promise overrules the law, but following the law makes you eligible to attain righteousness. The ritual works could not make anyone perfect. It was a temporary conciliation.
9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings (various cleansings), and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
The original Greek has 'restoration'. This will be at the 2nd Advent.
9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect (G5046- wanting nothing, complete) tabernacle (the body), not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Hebrews 9:1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances (sacrificial rituals) of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary (Temple).
Hebrews 10:1 For the law (rituals) having a shadow of good things to come (Christ), and not the very image of the things (matters), can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers (those coming forth) thereunto perfect.
The temporary propitiation that the priesthood made never made anyone perfect, only the propitiation Christ made can make His people perfect, by repentance along with imitation of Christ's example.
9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He (Christ) entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
9:13 For if sprinkling those who are defiled with the blood of goats and bulls and ashes of a heifer sanctifies for purity of the flesh, (Lev 16:14)
9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works (the rituals) to serve the living God?
Dead works. Christ was the fulfillment of the rituals, they were not needed anymore.
1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
When we walk in the light, when we imitate what He represents, His example, we have fellowship with Him. When we stray and fall away, we do not have fellowship with Him.
Our hearts and minds must be perfect towards Him. This is what spiritual sacrifice is. No more priests, no more animal sacrifices, no more rituals, no more mediator of men, water, or ritual or priest. It is up to us to bring our hearts and minds, allegiance and loyalty, love and obedience. That is what makes us perfect.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they (priesthood) offered year by year continually make the comers (those coming forth) thereunto perfect (G5048- accomplished, complete, perfected). (Heb 9:9,11)
People cannot become perfected by offering sacrifices. Christ prefers obedience.
Hebrews 10:10 (The New Covenant) By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all (all who are under the Covenant).
John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.
10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
These sacrifices were still taking place after Christ's death. Paul was teaching that the priesthood and the rituals were done away with. To continue them was to deny the crucifixion.
10:12 But this man (Christ), after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Colossians 3:1 If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
10:13 From henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. (Psa 110:1, Acts 2:35)
10:14 For by one offering He hath perfected (G5048- accomplished) for ever them that are sanctified.
Who was sanctified? The children of Jacob/Israel.
Sanctified: to render or acknowledge; to separate from profane things; dedicate people to God.
When we are dedicated to Yahweh, we must separate ourselves from profane things. Then we will be acknowledged. This is being perfect.
The examples of Faith (allegiance) chapter.
Hebrews 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith (allegiance), received not the promise:
11:40 of Yahweh, foreseeing for us something better, that not apart from us should they be perfected (G5048- made complete, add what is yet wanting in order to render a thing full).
The dead will receive of the promise the same time we do.
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, He (Christ) became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him;
All those described in chapter 11 did not “just believe” as the “churches” teach.
All these acts proved their allegiance (faith).
They were assured that Yahweh was trustworthy through their allegiance and loyalty to what the Kingdom stands for and what is expected of an heir to an inheritance. They understood their heritage and walked in The Way.
Regardless of what the world or society does, we must always have allegiance (faith) and not sway, even in trials and tribulations.
The saints of the reformation endured the same things against the Catholic church.
The Catholics burned people at the stake well into the 1800's for challenging their heresies.
Hebrews 12:23 And to an assembly of those first born being registered in the heavens, and to Yahweh judge of all, and to the Spirits of those righteous having been perfected (G5048- to bring to an end goal, accompished);
James 1:18 Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures (creations).
Luke 10:20 But in this you must not rejoice: that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
This life is our test. We are perfected when we reach the end goal. We are accomplished when the test is finished.
Hebrews 13:21 (May Yahweh) Make you perfect (G2675- restored, fit, strengthened) in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory (honor) for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Pet 5:10, Phil 2:13)
Through Yahshua Christ. That means through His example. May Yahweh make you restored, fit, complete, strengthened, in your work, lifestyle, thoughts, actions and words that you may be wellpleasing in His sight. Honor Him with your constant zeal for perfection.
James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Prince Yahshua Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
James is not addressing the “church”, or “Gentiles”. He is addressing the descendants of the 12 tribes, which are already at that time migrating and settling the nations of Europe. These are Anglo-Saxon Caucasian peoples. The seed of the promise to Abraham. The Jews are NOT Israel, they are descendants of Cain and of Esau.
1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers (various) temptations (trials);
Acts 5:41 ... rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name (Yahshua).
1Peter 1:6-7
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are pained through various trials:
7 That the trial (test) of your faith (allegiance), being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory (dignity) at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1:3 Knowing this, that the trying (testing) of your faith (allegiance) worketh patience (endurance).
Romans 5:3-5
3 And not only, but we should boast in afflictions also, knowing that affliction worketh endurance;
4 And endurance a tried character, and the tried character an expectation;
5 And the expectation does not disgrace, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
Verses 2-3 teach us that we are to be happy when we are tried and tested. Again, this life is a test, to see if we will follow The Way, if we love Yahweh, if we love our brethren, if we obey Yahweh's laws, if we will live with our hearts and minds being perfect towards Yahweh.
1:4 But let patience (endurance) have her perfect (G5046- finished) work, that ye may be perfect (G5046- consummate integrity and virtue) and entire (complete), wanting nothing.
1:16 Do not err (be deceived), my beloved brethren.
1:17 Every good gift (act of giving) and every perfect (G5046- wanting nothing necessary to completeness) gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
1:18 Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures (creations).
James is referring to our ancestors, the 12 tribes. 'Creatures' should be 'creations', what Yahweh originally created, or established.
1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear (quick to listen), slow to speak, slow to wrath (anger):
Ecclesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
Proverbs 10:19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
1:20 For the wrath (anger) of man worketh (accomplishes) not the righteousness of God.
1:21 Wherefore lay apart (aside) all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness (residue of evil), and receive with meekness the engrafted (implanted) word, which is able to save your souls. (1Pet 2:1, Col 3:8)
Acts 13:26 Men, brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving (defrauding) your own selves.
But the “churches” teach that all you have to do is “just believe”.
Verse 18 tells us to be firstfruits of His creation. How do we do this? By DOING. Follow the law, The Way, and the example that Yahshua Christ demonstrated. He fulfilled it perfectly. That is the goal. No we won't be perfect everytime but it is the effort that counts.
1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
The original Greek reads:
23 Because if one is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing the appearance of his race in a mirror,
When we hear and don't do, we are just like the heathen, the Jews, and the other races.
'Natural'. The definition means: descent, origin, source, nativity, race. The Greek word is 'genesis'. What is Genesis, but the origin of the generations of Adam. This Bible is written by, to, for and about the race of Adam, which by the way, Adam in Hebrew means, ruddy, to show blood in the face, fair. What race of people is this describing?
'Natural' is a noun in Greek. The KJV changed it from a noun to an adjective.
1:24 For he beholdeth (observes) himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner (sort) of man he was.
1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect (G5046- wanting nothing necessary to completeness) law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in (by) his deed.
If we simply follow the laws of Yahweh and live according to The Way, then we will have blessings and liberty and lack nothing necessary to completeness. Perfection!
True liberty is living as we should, not as we please.
We have free will. When we live an obedient life we are in allegiance with the Father.
James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
If we don't show our brethren mercy, why should Yahweh show us mercy? (Matt 7:2)
The “churches” teach that we should not judge. They teach tolerance. Scripture teaches that we should judge righteously. We are to point out unrighteousness and correct our brethren.
2:14 What doth it profit (benefit), my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
The “churches” say, “Yes”. Who will you put your trust in, the “churches” or scripture?
2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Luke 3:11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things (provisions) which are needful to the body; what doth it profit (benefit)?
1John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone (by itself).
It cannot be separated. Why don't the “churches” teach the same thing that scripture does?
2:18 Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Works are the product of faith.
How can you show your works if you “just believe”? Yahweh wants doers with action. Christ did not walk as a man “just believing” what the Father's will was, He demonstrated it.
2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Devils “believe” just like the “churches” “believe”. Devils have no good works to show for, neither do those who “just believe”. Not much difference between the two is there?
2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith (allegiance) without works is dead?
2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified (deemed righteous) by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? (Gen 22:9)
Abraham didn't “just believe”. He performed an act.
2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect (G5048- carried through completely)?
Hebrews 11:17 By faith (allegiance) Abraham, when he was tried (tested), offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten (most beloved) son,
2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed (accounted) unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. (Gen 15:6, 2 Chr 20:7)
2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified (deemed righteous), and not by faith only.
James 3:1 You must not produce many teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive a greater judgment.
We better be teaching the truth. There are way to many denominations and preachers teaching the same lies and apostasy that they were taught. There are more “churches” now than ever, and we are further away from Yahweh and the truth than ever.
3:2 For we all fail often! If anyone does not fail in word, he is a perfect (G5046- of integrity and virtue, mature) man able to guide with a bridle even the whole body.
3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn (maneuver) about their whole body.
Psalm 32:9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
The “churches” have put bits in the people's mouths, that they may believe and live a false doctrine; and they maneuver about the whole assembly through unrighteousness.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.
1Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory (honor) that shall be revealed:
5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight (supervision) thereof, not by constraint (force), but willingly; not for filthy lucre (money), but of a ready (willing) mind;
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.
5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
Verses 1-3 is talking about the role of the supervisor, the elders. It is their job as knowledgeable and competent teachers to feed the flock. A great responsibility. The “churches” are failing miserably.
Only the sons of Jacob are referred to as the flock, sheep, God's heritage.
5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory (honor) that fadeth not away.
5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace (favor) to the humble.
5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:
5:7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil (False Accuser), as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Job 1:7 And Yahweh said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
The Devil doesn't do this alone, he has many children.
5:9 (You) Whom resist stedfast in the faith (allegiance), knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world (society).
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
5:10 But the God of all grace (favor), who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect (G2675- fit, restored), stablish, strengthen, settle you. (2 Cor 4:17-18)
We will be exhalted in due time if we perform the things described in the above verses. These lead to perfection.
When we sin we are not perfect. We are only perfect when we walk as Christ walked, in His perfect footsteps.
1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (Heb 7:25)
2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins (errors): and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
The whole Adamic society.
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
The Bible is the book of the generations of Adam, only Adamkind, the white race, has ever produced a Society. The only people throughout history that create society with law.
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
If you do not keep His commandments, you do not know Him, or care.
2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
This sounds like today's “churches”, which teach that the law has been “done away with”.
2:5 But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected (G5048- consummate, complete): hereby know we that we are in Him.
2:6 He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.
Can it get any clearer? Walk as He walked. How did He walk? He walked in The Way that the scriptures teach us to walk. See 'The Way' in Word Studies menu. See also 'What is a Christian' in Who's Who menu.
1John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected (G5048- completely) in us.
4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.
4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world (society).
John 3:17 For God sent not His Son into the world (society) to condemn the world (society); but that the world (society) through Him might be saved (preserved).
4:15 Whosoever shall confess (profess) that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. (Rom 10:9)
4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
4:17 Herein is our love made perfect (G5048- complete), that we may have boldness (freespokenness) in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world (society).
4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect (G5046- wanting nothing necessary to completeness, complete) love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect (G5048- complete) in love.
4:19 We love Him, because He first loved us.
John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel (messenger) of the church (assembly) in Sardis write; These things saith He that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know your works, that you hast a name that you livest, and art dead.
Ephesians 2:1,5
1 And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by favor ye are preserved;)
3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen (establish) the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect (G4137- completed, filled, accomplished) before God.
3:3 Remember therefore how you hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shalt not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shalt not know what hour I will come upon you. (1 Tim 6:20, 2 Tim 1:13)
3:4 You hast a few names (people) even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: for they are worthy.
Your garment is your skin color, your race. Do not defile your race with one from another.
These few people may have been those that followed Martin Luther.
3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels (messengers).
3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (assemblies).
Sardeis was the capital city of ancient Lydia.
The town of Sardis was founded beyond the dawn of history. Located on fertile plain of great east and west trade route. Produced the earliest coinage found.
-“I come as a thief”- Refers to being on the watch or they would be taken by surprise, was because their city was a fortified hill, only one attack spot. Yet it was captured twice by surprise. (Cyrus, 549 BC and Antiochus the Great in 218 BC)
It was an important city to the Persians, and held by them throughout the Classical period. The original Lydian cities were all said to have been destroyed by the Persians in the 6th century BC, and until the time of Alexander the Persians held most of Asia Minor. Sardeis was named after the usually transparent-reddish or brownish sardion stone, which is called carnelian by the English. This stone was used in the making of jewelry by the Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans, and in the making of cylinder seals by the Assyrians. It was also widely used by the Romans for signet seals, which may add to the depth of the meaning here, since there is apparently question as to whether these Christians are indeed as sealed, or assured, of their salvation as they seem to think that they are. The Sardians had the Word, but seem not to have acted on it.
SARDIS (remnant, reformation) Means -bright light- those who overcome
1517-1789 AD
-The start of the Reformation
During the Middle Ages, all institutions, political and religious suffered corruption.
-Time of Martin Luther
Martin Luther was a Catholic priest in 1507, became a lecturer at U of Wittenberg.
He translated the Bible into German. Nailed up papers stating 95 theses that were corrupt in the church for debate. He did not intend to start a separate Protestant church, he wanted to clean up the things in his own church.
Protestantism filtered into France in 1520's.
-In this period you had few people trying in vain to bring about reform. The “church” held council in Trent in 1545. Priestly hierarchy holds strong, the worship of saints, the doctrine of purgatory, the sale of indulgences, all were affirmed. (all apostate)
The Lutheran doctrine, that salvation is by faith in Yahshua, not payment of money to the church, was condemned as heretical. And all heretics to be exterminated.
We must strive to be perfect towards Yahweh in heart, mind, and mode of life. If we do not watch, and are not in the daily practice of living according to The Way when He returns, then why would He confess us to the Father?
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
It's simple. Learn the truth, live it and proclaim it. There is only one way to perfection.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
Not by “just believing”, but by being.
