Galatians

GALATIANS

Written most likely in  (range given 48-58 AD)

To the Galatians written from Rome.

The Galatians were descended from the Israelites. They were mostly a Celtic/Germanic tribe.

Omri was a king of the House of Israel, the northern 10 tribe kingdom. Those that migrated from that area and time became known as the Kimmerians, who later became Scythians, Celts and Germans.

The ancient Israelites that went as far as the Rhine river in France and migrated back towards Palestine, and settled in central Asia Minor (Turkey) They are basically Greek Germans.

Differences in language were a result of these branches arriving at different times and from different migration, some by land, some by sea.

With the rise of Classical Greece came Greek historical and geographical inquiry which, as is apparent from their own records, began in the late 7th century B.C. The Greek writers were first acquainted with their neighbors to the east in the form of the Assyrian empire, which had fallen by 612 B.C., and then even more so with the Persian empire, whose power was consolidated under Cyrus II by 540 B.C.

It may be evident, therefore, that the earliest written Greek accounts concerning the east were influenced by the Assyrians, and later by the Persians and Medes.

A people whom the Greeks called Kimmerians invaded Anatolia from the east.

After withdrawing from Anatolia (where surely they had begun the fulfillment of the prophecy found at Isaiah 66:19, since the Ionians are the Javan (Descendants of Japeth) and the Lydians the Shemitic Lud of the Old Testament), the Kimmerians are found inhabiting the regions north and west of the Black Sea, north of Thrace.

Subsequent waves of nomadic tribes from Asia became familiar to the Greeks, and these were generally called by the name Scythians. Herodotus tells us that Sakae is the name which the Persians “give to all Scythians”, yet later the Greeks retain the name Sakae, also often written Sakans by English translators.

The Germanic tribes dwelling north of the Danube were originally called by the later Greek writers by the name Galatae.  Julius Caesar, Tacitus, Pliny and the ancient writers in general regarded the Germans as Celts (Gauls).

Diodorus Siculus describes the Galatae who dwell beyond (east of) the Rhine as tall and blond with very white skin, and says that they drank beer made from barley and the water in which they washed their honeycombs.

Long after the initial dispersion of the Kimmerians, Galatae are found raiding the countries to the south, from their homes in Germanic lands north of the Danube, well into the second century B.C. From 279-276 B.C. they destroyed a Macedonian army, raided Macedonia and sacked Delphi (Diodorus Siculus, Library of History, 22.3, 4, 9). From just before this time until about 210 B.C. the Galatae ruled all of Thrace. It was also during this time that tribes of the Galatae crossed back into Anatolia, and after suffering a defeat at the hands of the king of Pergamos, settled the land which became known as Galatia, already discussed above. Yet by 168 B.C., Galatae from north of the Danube were being hired by the Macedonians as mercenaries in their wars against the Romans (Library of History, 30.19; 31.12-14).

The eventual establishment of Roman frontiers along the Rhine and the Danube checked the encroachment of the Germanic tribes upon the more fruitful lands of the south and west for several centuries. The appearance of so many Galatae in lands said to be German, without any recorded conflict among the peoples there – except where later incited by Rome – would certainly be odd, unless the Galatae were indeed German (Strabo, Geography, 7.1.2) and they were all kinsmen (4.4.2), which they certainly were.

Throughout The Germania the Roman historian Tacitus attempts to distinguish Germans from Gauls based upon language and lifestyle, yet these differences may easily be accounted for by other reasons. In the rugged north, unfriendly to agriculture, tribes would by necessity adopt a lifestyle quite different than that of the tribes which inhabit the more arable, more temperate areas in the west and south of Europe. As for language, centuries of separation during a gradual sojourn from Asia, and the differing influences of various neighboring tribes through commerce, politics, intermingling, etc., or lack thereof, surely may account for the many dialects which developed amongst the Germanic peoples. This may also account for differences in religious beliefs found among these tribes, although their most basic beliefs seem to have at least been somewhat consistent.

The context in chapters 1-5 are the “works of the law”, meaning the sacrificial rituals.

After the crucifixion of Christ, the rituals (works) were done away with, they expired, they served their purpose as a schoolmaster for our ancestors.

Imagine living in the 1st century and you are a follower of The Way. Your ancestors performed sacrificial rituals for the atonement of sin. This was the norm. Then, Christ, the last sacrifice, was crucified. Many, if not most of the Judaeans (Israelites of the House of Judah) who had the law from experience (Exodus) did not understand that these sacrifices and oblations were to cease.

Paul was reinforcing the scriptures and warning the Galatians of the Judaizers (scribes, Pharisees) who were trying to teach their perverted version of the Torah (laws of Moses) for their doctrine, known as 'the traditions of men'. Which sadly is what most church doctrine is today.

Judaism is NOT Christianity. Judaism is the opposite of Christianity. Judaism is hypocrisy.

Judaizers are those who teach the 'doctrines of men'. The perversion of scripture.

Judaizers in those days were the Edomite scribes and Pharisees who have infiltrated the priesthood and corrupted it. Yes, some of the Israelite Pharisee and Sadducees were influenced to the dark side. Paul was a Pharisee before his revelation on the road to Damascus.

The Nations (wrongly “gentiles”) who were the uncircumcised, or the dispersed Israelites of the 10 northern tribes of the House of Israel were also the same seed, race and people as the House of Judah.

Paul was the apostle to the dispersed but included both in his teachings. For both are Israelites. The 'called out' seed of Abraham, to which the promises were made. To whom Christ Prince Yahshua came for.

Galatians is an extremely mistranslated book. Just like the law of Moses (Torah) has been altered and perverted by the scribes and Pharisees of Christ's time, the writings of Paul (and the whole Bible) have been altered and perverted by the ruling classes of the times throughout time by the translators.

The original written word of Yahweh to the prophets and apostles were indeed inspired. But that does not mean that the translators were inspired. They are just translators.

If you knew German and Italian, and you were to translate a book on brain surgery, just because you know German and Italian, doesn't mean you know brain surgery.

The original Greek will be referenced often.

William Gale has the Galatians as Spain.

Christians can fall from grace and be removed from the grace of God.

Paul's gospel was a revelation from God. He had no problem reiterating the events that transpired in the book of Acts.

Paul teaches justification by faith (moral conviction) and that we are free from the works (sarificial rituals) of the law.

Christians can live victorious over sin, the spirit of immersion (in knowledge and understanding) for all who believe.

The law of Moses is still in effect, just the priesthood and rituals expired.

The backsliders must be reborn and return to grace.

All who will go back to keeping the sacrificial ritual atonements will be cursed.

This epistle is addressed to dispersed Israel, that is, descendants of the twelve tribes taken captive and dispersed amongst the lands adjacent to Palestine and beyond. The scattered and dispersed Israelites was a fact well known to the apostles. (James 1:1, 1Pet 1:1)

On Paul's second missionary journey he, with Silas, visited 'Phrygia and Galatia.' These were Roman provinces to the west of Asia Minor set amidst mountainous country. The people who dwelt there were 'in origin a stream of that great Keltic torrent which poured into Greece in the 3rd century BC.

Celt, or Kelt, was the name given to the stoneknife used for circumcision, the mark of Yahweh's chosen people.

These people would be well acquainted with the great truths enshrined in Old Testament scriptures, such as the Abrahamic covenant and the Mosaic Law. On these truths Paul based his teaching in this epistle. He visited this territory again on his third missionary journey, 'strengthening the disciples' whom he had made there on his previous visit.

The letter was written after leaving them and during his 3 months' stay at Corinth but is sent from Rome.

Salutation

Galatians 1:1  Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus (Yahshua) Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead;)

1:2  And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches (assemblies) of Galatia:

Brethren will be underlined every time to remind you who is being addressed. That would be the Israelites of the 12 tribes of Jacob. This book (Bible) is to, for, by and about the generations of Adam (Gen 5:1), the seed of Abraham, as will be demonstrated, and we, Anglo-Saxon American, European, New Zealand and Australian peoples, kin and race.

1:3  Grace (Favor, Divine influence) be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Prince Jesus (Yahshua) Christ,

1:4  Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world (age), according to the will of God and our Father:

Matthew 20:28  Even as the Son of Adam came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.

1:5  To whom be glory (honor) for ever and ever. Amen.

There Is No Other Gospel

1:6  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace (favor, Divine influence) of Christ unto another gospel:   (2Cor 11:4)

The Greek: 6  I (Paul) am astonished seeing that so quickly you are changed from He who has been calling you in favor of the Anointed (group, the 'called out' seed of Jacob), to another good message,

1:7  Which is not another (no other good message); but there be some that trouble (agitate) you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.  (2 Cor 11:4)

Paul is saying that others (Judaizers) will come in sheep's clothing and try to agitate or pervert the truth. He's warning of false preachers.

1:8  But though we, or an angel (messenger) from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

1:9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received (from Paul), let him be accursed.

1:10  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

1Thessalonians 2:4  But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Paul's Vindication of His Apostleship

1:11  But I certify (point out to) you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of (by) me is not after (according to) man.

1:12  For I neither received it of (by) man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus (Yahshua) Christ.

Conversion on the road to Damascus.

1:13  For ye have heard of my conversation (conduct) in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church (assembly) of God, and wasted it:  (Acts 8:3, 9:1, 22:4-5, 26:9-11; 1 Tim 1:13)

1:14  And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.   (Act 22:3)

Paul persecuted the assemblies, the gathered groups of 'called out' Israelites.

The Judaean's religion is referring to Judaism. The law of Moses perverted.

The religious sect, controlled by Edomites, profited by controlling the people with their 'doctrines of men, or traditions of the elders', which is Judaism, Communism, Talmudism.

Paul is proving that he, being an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin, profited by this anti-Christ religion as a Pharisee, over his own nation, kinsmen, race, and that the Edomite Jews were the controlling sect.

1:15  But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace (favor, Divine influence),

Isaiah 49:1  Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; Yahweh hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath He made mention of my name.

49:5  And now, saith Yahweh that formed me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob again to Him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of Yahweh, and my God shall be my strength.

1:16  To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen (Nations); immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:   (Act 9:3-6, 22:6-10, 26:13-18)

'heathen' is a deliberate mistranslation. The Greek word is ethnos (G1484) which means a nation, race or people of the same tribe. The 'Nations' that Paul was to preach to was the dispersed nations of the 10 northern tribe kingdom of Israel.

1:17  Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

1:18  Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Acts 9:26  And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

1:19  But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Prince's brother. (Jos Ant 20. 9.1 199-203)

1:20  Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

Romans 9:1  I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,

 1:21  Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

Acts 9:30  Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

1:22  And was unknown by face (appearance) unto the churches (assemblies) of Judaea which were in Christ:

1:23  But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith (The Belief) which once he destroyed.

Paul was a true convert. They knew he used to persecute them, but now he has Yahweh in him.

1:24  And they glorified God in me.

The Greek: 24  And they supposed Yahweh was within me.

Paul and the Other Apostles

Galatians 2:1  Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.   (Act 11:30, 15:2)

2:2  And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles (dispersed Nations of Israel), but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

Reference to Acts 15:12  Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Nations by them.

2:3  But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

Someone tried to compel Titus to be circumcised. Acts 15:5  But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

These are the Judaizers trying to agitate the people and divide them.

2:4  And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus (Yahshua), that they might bring us into bondage:

Bondage of the rituals and disobedience.

2:5  To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

The apostles did not yield in subjection to the Judaizers.

2:6  But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person🙂 for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:  (Deut 10:17)

They were trying to pull rank. Yahweh does not care about a man's stature in society. He shows no partiality.

Paul was teaching anti-Popery.

 2:7  But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

Acts 13:46  Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you (circumcision): but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles (uncircumcision, the dispersed of Israel).

Romans 11:13  For I speak to you Gentiles (uncircumcised, dispersed), inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles (uncircumcision, dispersed Nations of Israel), I magnify mine office:

2Timothy 1:11  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles (uncircumcision, dispersed Nations of Israel, “lost” sheep, forgetful, disobeying, spoiled children!).

2:8  (For He that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles (Nations):)

Acts 9:15  But the Prince said unto him, Go your way: for he (Paul) is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear My name before the Gentiles (Nations) and kings of the children of Israel:

Even Jesus knows who the Nations are, they are 'lost' Israelites of the dispersion. Why would He include Gentiles (non-Israelites) in with kings, and children of Israel? Because 'Gentiles' are the 10 northern tribes of Israel that migrated away from the land of Canaan. They forgot who they were and Whose they were, Paul was their guide. The “churches” teach that “Gentile” means non-Jew. Gentile is a Latin word meaning, a nation, tribe or people of the same race. It does not belong in the Bible. The word is 'ethnos' in Greek and just describes a certain nation of people, any nation. Most of the time the context is the Nations of Israel. Sometimes it refers to the other nations of people outside of the seed of Jacob. For example, Jesus said,

Matthew 10:5  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles (nations), and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Since 'Gentiles' means nation, race or people, here it refers to the nation, race or people outside of the nation, race or people of Israel. See next verse for confirmation that Jesus is not a hypocrite.

Matthew 10:6  But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And Matt 15:24.

The lost sheep were from the 12 tribes of Israel, more specifically the 10 northern tribes.

Only Israelites are referred to as lost sheep. No other race is part of the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Peter was the apostle to the circumcision, which is the House of Judah, Israelite Judaeans of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi. These are the people that Christ demonstrated the example to.

Paul was the apostle to the uncircumcision, which is the House of Israel, Israelites of the other 10 tribes, the Nations (wrongly and deliberately translated as “Gentiles”).

The circumcised experienced the Exodus and giving of the law. The uncircumcised dispersed before the Exodus, and others later on in the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities, these tribes also dispersed and went on to settle Europe.

Only a remnant of the House of Judah returned to Jerusalem.

2:9  And when James, Cephas (Peter), and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace (favor, Divine influence) that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen (Nations), and they unto the circumcision.

The “churches” teach that the “Gentiles” are non-Israelites and/or heathen. The word 'Gentile' is a Latin word that means: nation, kin, or tribe of the same race. Period. You can't add 'non-Israelite' as part of the definition.

The KJV added heathen, where the original texts reveal 'Nations', as in 'of Israel'.

The Nations are the uncircumcised, dispersed Israelites that forgot who they were. They were Israelites outside of Judaea, such as most of the Greeks and peoples of the Roman Empire which stretched into Europe.

2:10  Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward (anxious) to do.

Paul Rebukes Peter at Antioch

2:11  But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

2:12  For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles (Nations, uncircumcised): but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

When Peter was entertaining the uncircumcised, and the circumcised came around, he pretended not to know the uncircumcised.

Acts 10:28  And he (Peter) said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Judaean (circumcised) to keep company, or come unto one of another nation (uncircumcised); but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Peter was shown in a vision in Acts 10 that the Nations (uncircumcised) were his kinsman and not considered by Yahweh as unclean. They were Israelites of the dispersion and under the same promises and redemption as the Judaean Israelites (circumcised). Acts 10 is not about eating pork!

2:13  And the other Judaeans dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation (hypocrisy).

2:14  But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If you, being a Judaean, livest after the manner of Gentiles (Nations, uncircumcised), and not as do the Judaeans, why compellest you the Gentiles (Nations, uncircumcised) to live as do the Judaeans?

Don't be a hypocrite.

Judaeans and the 'Lost' Nations of Israel Are Saved by The Belief

2:15  We who are Judaeans by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles (Nations),

2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law (rituals), but by the faith of (belief in) Jesus (Yahshua) Christ, even we have believed in Yahshua Christ, that we might be justified by the faith (belief in) of Christ, and not by the works of the law (rituals): for by the works of the law (rituals) shall no flesh be justified.   (Psa 143:2; Rom 3:20,22)

Works of the law is not the 10 commandments. They are ordinances. They are referring to the sacrificial rituals. Before Christ died, the Israelite priesthood performed sacrifice for the atonement of sin. When Christ died, He was the last sacrifice, and became the reigning high priest. These rituals were to cease. Many Israelites did not understand this and wanted to continue the rituals. The Judaizers were agitating the people and saying that Paul was doing away with the law (rituals) and these people were upset about it. See Acts 21:18-26

The rituals themselves cannot justify. They were just a schoolmaster for us to learn from.

The allegiance with our Prince is our salvation (preservation).

The Pharisees wanted to keep the rituals because they could control the people.

Notice in verse 16  it reads 'faith of Christ', twice. We are not “saved” because we believe in a man named Jesus (Yahshua). We are preserved in this life because we believe AND follow in the faith OF Christ. What is the faith of Christ? Faith means allegiance, loyalty, copying the example of. Christ has the allegiance to Yahweh. He obeyed and followed the plan of God. If we believe in the faith of Christ, then we must emulate His example. “Just believing” is not enough.

Romans 1:17  The righteousness of Yahweh is revealed in them from trust in faith (belief); just as it is written, But the just will live by faith (allegiance, belief).

2:17  But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

We are still not to sin.

2:18  For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

2:19  For I through the law (Torah) am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.   (Rom 7; 4Mac 7:19)

The Greek: 19  For I through law have died in law, in order that in Yahweh I shall live. I have been crucified with Christ.

Acknowledge our guilt.

2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith (belief) of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.   (Rom 8:10; 2Cor 6:16, 13:5; Eph 3:17; Col 1:27; 1Jn 4:4)

The faith of: again, His faith was the plan of God. He believed and trusted God, and executed that example fully. This is what we must do, not “just believe”, but believe and DO.

2:21  I do not frustrate (refuse) the grace (favor, Divine influence) of God: for if righteousness come by the law (Torah), then Christ is dead in vain.

If just following the rituals or the law saves us, then what do we need Christ for?

They are our schoolmaster for our learning and understanding. For growth.

Law or Belief

The function of the ritual law

Galatians 3:1  O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus (Yahshua) Christ hath been evidently (publicly) set forth, crucified among you?

Don't you understand His death yet?

The Keltic temperament, then, as now, has always been ardent and eager but easily influenced, and Paul reproached them for this instability.

3:2  This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law (rituals), or by the hearing of faith (belief, truth itself)?

The Judaizers, false brethren, the Jews were teaching that you were saved by the rituals.

3:3  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

3:4  Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

If you don't understand His death, you accomplish nothing.

Hebrews 10:35  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

10:36  For ye have need of patience (endurance), that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

2John 1:8  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought (engaged in), but that we receive a full reward.

3:5  He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law (rituals), or by the hearing of faith (belief, the truth itself)?

3:6  Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.   (Gen 15:6)

3:7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith (belief, allegiance), the same are the children of Abraham.   (Rom 4:16)

Paul defined the faith of Abraham in Romans 4.

3:8  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith (belief), preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In you shall all (the) nations be blessed.   (Gen 12:3, 18:18)

Another deliberate mistranslation of the word 'nation' into heathen. The promises, laws and covenants were given to Abraham's seed. Abraham's descendants. Abraham's race. Abraham obeyed Yahweh and placed his son on the altar as a sacrifice to Yahweh, and still had faith in what Yahweh promised him. That he would be a father of many nations, meaning nations that came from Abraham's loins. This cannot be spiritualized, and you cannot add other races into this promise.

The Greek: 8  And the writing having foreseen that from faith (allegiance, belief) Yahweh would deem the Nations righteous, announced to Abraham beforehand that “In you shall all the Nations be blessed.”

3:9  So then they which be of faith (out of belief) are blessed with faithful (believing) Abraham.

This verse sounds like anyone is 'in' if they have faith, let's look at the Greek:

9  So those from faith are blessed along with the believing Abraham.

Those from faith. The context is Abraham's faith. From Abraham's faith, resulting in the promises made to him regarding his seed.

3:10  For as many as are of the works of the law (rituals) are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.   (4Mac 5:20; Deut 27:26, Jer 11:3)

If you stay in the rituals then you are cursed. Christ freed us from the ritual obligations, don't continue in them.

3:11  But that no man is justified by the law (Torah) in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith (out of belief).   (Hab 2:4)

3:12  And the law (Torah) is not of faith (out of belief): but, The man that doeth (practices) them shall live in them.

Doing the law. Righteousness comes from obedience. Lev 18:5, Rom 10:5

3:13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law (Torah), being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:   (Deut 21:23)

3:14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles (Nations of 'lost' Israelites) through Yahshua Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (The Belief).

Romans 4:9  Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith (allegiance) was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

Isaiah 32:15  Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

Ezekiel 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

The Promise to Abraham

3:15  Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

No man can change the covenants. But the “churches” do. They include everyone else into the covenants made to Abraham's seed.

3:16  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, which is Christ (Anointed).   (Gen 12:7, 17:7, 22:18, 24:7)

The Greek is much clearer:

16  Now to Abraham the promises have been spoken, and to his offspring. It does not say “and to offsprings”, as of many; but as of one: “and to your offspring.” which are anointed.

'Christ' is not always referring to Jesus. Christ means 'anointed'. Called out, set apart.

Some examples are: 1 Sam 2:10,35, 1 Chron 16:22, Psalms 2:2,9, Heb 11:24-26, Lam 4:20, Hab 3:13.

Abraham's seed was 'called out', anointed. Chosen over ALL the other nations of the world. Yes, it is exclusive, but don't take my word for it. Take Yahweh's word.

Seed is defined as offspring, posterity. Kind after kind. Sperm, as the “churches” teach, cannot be spiritualized. Those NOT of the race of Abraham can't become the seed of Abraham.

If you still don't understand, reread verse 16 and use 'offspring' in place of 'seed(s)'.

3:17  And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law (Torah), which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.   (Exo 12:40)

'in Christ' is not in the original texts.

The written law of Moses was given 430 years after the promises were given to Abraham.

Romans 4:13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith (allegiance).

3:18  For if the inheritance be of the law (Torah), it is no more of promise: but God gave (has graciously given) it to Abraham by promise.   (Rom 4:14)

The covenant (promise) has nothing to do with the law. Our free gift of salvation is because of the promise, but we can be 'blotted out' if we do not practice and strive for the faith OF Christ.

The Purpose of the Law

3:19  Wherefore then serveth the law (Torah)? It was added because of transgressions (sin), till the seed (offspring) should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels (messengers) in the hand of a mediator.

Yahweh promised Himself to the children of Israel. In the form of Jesus.

John 15:22  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they would have no error: but now they have no excuse concerning their errors.

3:20  Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

Romans 3:29  Is He the God of the Judaeans (circumcised) only? is He not also of the Gentiles (dispersed Nations, uncircumcised)? Yes, of the Gentiles (dispersed Nations) also:

Yahweh is the God of both Houses of Israel. Israel and Judah.

People would know this if the “churches” taught the history of our people, which is in the OT.

3:21  Is the law (Torah) then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law (Torah) given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law (Torah).

The law (Torah) can preserve (save) us.

The purpose of law (Torah), which in itself is just and good, is to prevent the wrongdoer from harming others or himself. The law reveals condemnation, not salvation, it neither justifies the sinner, nor sanctifies the believer.

3:22  But the scripture hath concluded all (Israelites) under sin, that the promise by faith of (out of the belief of) Yahshua Christ might be given to them that believe.

Romans 11:32  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

All the seed of Jacob are vessels of mercy. 'Might' is in verse 22 and the reference in Romans. If you don't act like a 'called out' seed, you might not get mercy. The children of Israel can exclude themselves by breaking allegiance (faith).

3:23  But before faith (The Belief) came, we were kept (guarded) under the law (Torah), shut up unto the faith (that belief, The Belief) which should afterwards be revealed.

3:24  Wherefore the law (rituals) was our schoolmaster (trainer) to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith (allegiance).

Most of the Israelites didn't have faith or love for the law. They just went through the motions of the rituals insincerely. After a while, the Israelites lost their fear of Yahweh because they could just sacrifice an animal for their sin, and then sin some more.

3:25  But after that faith (belief) is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (trainer, rituals).

They no longer had the crutch of the rituals.

3:26  For ye are all the children of God by faith (The Belief) in Christ Yahshua.

3:27  For as many of you as have been baptized (immersed) into Christ have put on Christ. (Christ you have been clothed in)

It follows that the impulse and inward power derived from the crucified, risen, indwelling Christ and from the faith (allegiance) which unites men to Him, results in outward character.

Deliverance from sin, deliverance from the curse of the law (not the law itself), deliverance from self centerdness, and deliverance from the lure of worldliness.

Allegiance (faith) also results in positive gifts, as, placement of son into Yahweh's inheritance, the promised Spirit, the fruits of that Spirit. Inwardly, love joy and peace. To Yahweh, faith (allegiance), meekness and temperance. And to others, longsuffering, gentleness and goodness.

3:28  There is neither Judaean nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Yahshua.

3:29  And (But) if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.   (Rom 4:13)

'And' is not in the texts, it should be But.

This verse is NOT saying that anybody can become Abraham's seed.

Genesis 21:10  Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman (Hagar) and her son (Ishmael): for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Hebrews 11:18  Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall your seed be called:

Even though Hagar, who was an Egyptian (who were white back then), and the same race of Abraham, and Ishmael being circumcised, they were not part of the promises to Abraham.

Let's review the origin of the promises to Abraham.

Genesis 22:15  And the angel of Yahweh called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,

22:16  And said, By myself have I sworn, saith Yahweh, for because you hast done this thing, and hast not withheld your son, thine only son:

22:17  That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

22:18  And in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you hast obeyed My voice.

Galatians 4:1  Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be master of all;

4:2  But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Paul is speaking of younger Israel (from time of Egypt), who needed schooling. The Levitical priesthood and the law.

4:3  Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world (society):

4:4  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law (Torah),

4:5  To redeem (ransom) them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Christ was born an Israelite. Only Israel was given the law (on Mt Sinai). Only Israel could be redeemed because only Israel was under the law. There were no other races or peoples at Mt Sinai.

'Adoption' is a deliberate mistranslation. The Greek word 'uiothesia' means 'the placement of son'. It has nothing to do with adopting someone from another race and including them in the will (inheritance, promises, covenants).

The “churches” teach that God is a foster parent for anyone who “believes”. Why would you need to be “adopted” if you are already a child of God's? Oh yeah, because they teach that you are a non-Israelite gentile who by “just believing” you become the seed of Abraham and are by your own declaration are “saved”. That's just CRAZY!!!

The scriptures teach that Israelites are children of Yahweh that when they come of age (mature Spiritually) they are placed into position of son, and are heir to the inheritance promised to Abraham's seed.

4:6  And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.   (2Esdr 10:7)

Romans 5:5  And the expectation does not disgrace; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.

4:7  Wherefore you art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.   (Rom 8:15-17)

'through Christ' is not in the original manuscripts.

With this addition, it supports the universal doctrine that anybody who “believes” can become a son. Scripture teaches exclusivity to the children of Israel, the race of Adam.

Paul Reproves the Galatians

4:8  Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

Greek: 8 But while at that time not knowing Yahweh, you had been enslaved to those who are not gods by nature; (rebellious pagans)

4:9  But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?   (Col 2:8,20)

9 and now knowing Yahweh, and still more being known by Yahweh, how do you again turn back to the weaknesses and poor elements of knowledge to which from above you again desire to be enslaved?

Now that you know Yahweh, how can you turn back away?

4:10  Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

Christmas, Halloween, Easter. 'Traditions of the elders'. All are NOT Christian holidays.

4:11  I am afraid of (for) you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

11 I fear for you, whether or not I have toiled for you without purpose.

4:12  Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured (wronged) me at all.

4:13  Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.

1Corinthians 2:3  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4:14  And my temptation (trial) which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel (messenger) of God, even as Christ Yahshua.

Paul is complimenting the Galatians that they received the gospel. Some of his trials was losing his vision.

Matthew 10:40  He that receiveth you receiveth Me, and he that receiveth Me receiveth Him that sent Me.

4:15  Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

4:16  Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

That you should stop this paganism. And get back to your righteousness.

4:17  They zealously affect (envy) you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect (envy) them.

Romans 10:3  For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4:18  But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

4:19  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,   (4Mac 15:17)

19 My little children, whom I travail once more, until the Anointed have taken shape among you;

4:20  I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

To be stern with them, they have been weak and fall for the perversion of the Judaizers.

The Allegory of Hagar and Sarah

4:21  Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law (Torah), do ye not hear the law?

Paul is setting up this discussion of the analogy of the bond woman, Hagar, and the free woman, Sarah.

4:22  For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.   (Gen 16:15, 21:2)

4:23  But he (Ishmael) who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh (worldly); but he (Isaac) of the freewoman was by promise.

4:24  Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Hagar.

Yahweh promised that Ishmael would be a great nation. Back then they were white Arabs. Today, they are mixed with Canaanite/Edomite Jew/and Negros.

ARAB - In Hebrew means -to become mixed, to grow dark

Ishmaelites- Arabs were white and remained white until Islamic Era (600AD ish)

United by Mohammedism in early 600's.

A new dynasty rose among the Arabs, moved capital from Damascus to Baghdad in 762 AD.

4:25  For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth (corresponds) to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

In the ancient world, when you were a slave, your children were also slaves. Hagar was Sarah's servant.

The Arabs picked up the yoke (the law) around their own necks. The law was not given to them,  but since they took it upon themselves, they are in bondage to it.

4:26  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.   (2Esdr 2:2, 10:7)

26 But the Jerusalem above is free, which is our mother.

'us all' is not in the ancient texts.

Jerusalem is often referred to as Israelites. The people.

Isaiah 2:2  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain (kingdom) of the Prince's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all the nations (of Adamkind) shall flow unto it.

4:27  For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, you that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Isaiah 54:1  Sing, O barren, you that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith Yahweh.

Desolate- Ishmaelites mixed with Canaanites and Edomites. Arabs have Jew blood.

She with a husband-Sarah, Israelites. Children of the promise.

4:28  Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

I don't know how I can explain this exclusiveness any better.

Acts 3:25  Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in your seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

4:29  But as then he (Ishmael) that was born after the flesh persecuted him (Isaac) that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.   (Gen 21:9)

4:30  Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman (Hagar) and her son (Ishmael): for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman (Sarah).   (Gen 21:10)

4:31  So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free (free woman).

If Ishmael was Abraham's son too, and Yahweh said that the promises were only to Isaac and his seed, how can the “churches” add everybody else? They can't. The Bible is for only the Adamic race and to the Israelites specifically. If you don't know who the Israelites are, then how can you understand the Bible? You can't. There is a specific seed that is Yahweh's, and there is a specific seed that is the Devil's. Gen 3:15 Matt 13:36-43

Paul is also speaking of what happened in Jasher 21:13-15, Ishmael was not nice to Isaac.

Galatians 5:1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

The liberty is freedom from the rituals. The yoke of bondage is the penalty of sin. The penalty of sin is death, eternally. The rituals were a teaching lesson that had an expiration date. That was when Christ died for our sins. The rituals were needed no more. We are cleansed through the blood that was shed and now walk in righteousness when we don't sin.

Paul is telling them not to go back to the rituals. Romans 6:18  Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Christ cleansed our PAST sins, if we are to become servants of righteousness, we must continue to be separate from sin. Of course we can't always, but we can constantly and consciously and sincerely make an effort always.

Christ also freed us from the added decrees of the Pharisees, the 'traditions of men'.

The Nature of Christian Freedom

5:2  Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

5:3  For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law (Torah).

5:4  Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace (favor, Divine influence).

5:5  For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith (out of belief).

5:6  For in Yahshua Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith (belief) which worketh by love.

The Greek clarifies:

2 Behold, I Paul say to you, that if you should be circumcised, Christ will be of no advantage to you.

3 And I testify again to every man getting himself circumcised, that he is obligated to do the entire law.

4 You are left unemployed, apart from the Anointed (the group). Those that in law are tested have fallen from favor,

5 For we in Spirit out of belief anxiously await the expectation of justice.

6 In Christ Yahshua neither circumcision nor uncircumcision prevail at all, but belief acting through love.

Verse 3 is a reference to Galatians 3:10  For as many as are of the works of the law (rituals) are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. Christ's death lifted the ritual yoke. Daniel 9:27  And He (Christ) shall confirm the covenant with many (His fellow disciples) for one week (Holy Week): and in the midst of the week (reference to Christ's baptism and beginning of ministry) He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation (rituals) to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations He shall make it desolate (destroy), even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (destroy). He's gonna take out the trash.

Verse 4 states that you can fall from grace (favor). “Once saved always saved?”

Also, you should be separated from your brethren if you don't accept His death and the fulfillment of the rituals by His death.

5:7  Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

The Greek: 7 Have you run well, you who have resisted to be persuaded in the truth?

The Galatians started acting accordingly until the Judaizers came with there hypocrisy and 'traditions'.

5:8  This persuasion (the Judaizing scribes and Pharisees) cometh not of Him (Christ) that calleth you.

5:9  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Matthew 16:6  Then Yahshua said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven (hypocrisy) of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. See also Matt 16:11-12, Mark 8:15, Luke 12:1)

5:10  I have confidence in you through the Prince, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.   (1 Cor 5:6,8)

He's warning not to listen to the false brethren.

5:11  And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence (stumbling block) of the cross ceased.

Verse 11 is a rhetorical statement.

1Corinthians 15:30  And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

5:12  I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

12 I would even be obliged that those upsetting you were to cut themselves off.

5:13  For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

The context is still liberty from the rituals.

Don't use the freedom from the rituals as an excuse to go sin.

1Peter 2:16  As free, and not using your liberty (from the rituals) for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

1Corinthians 8:9  But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

The 'churches' think the 'law', or the Torah, and even the food laws, were 'done away with', but it's the sacrificial rituals and Levitical ordinances and priesthood which were 'done away with'. So they've cast the law behind their back and believe that they are 'under grace' and are free from sin!

5:14  For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love your neighbour as yourself.  (Exo 19:18)

This is not speaking of racial alien neighbors. The Hebrew words and meanings are talking about racial kinsmen. Love thy race.

If you do this great commandment you are fulfilling all the commandments.

Matthew 22:6  Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

22:38  This is the first and great commandment.

22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love your neighbour as yourself.

22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

James 2:8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love your neighbour as yourself, ye do well:

5:15  But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

The Works of the Flesh

5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

5:17  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.   (Rom 7:15-23)

We must control our fleshly (worldly) lusts. We must not manifest the works of the flesh.

5:18  But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Romans 6:14  For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace (favor).

The favor comes from the promise. The promise by allegiance.

5:19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest (well known), which are these; Adultery (making impure marriage, and bloodline), fornication (race mixing, incest), uncleanness (physically or morally), lasciviousness (lust),

5:20  Idolatry, witchcraft (medication, pharmacy, drugs), hatred (hostility), variance (contention), emulations (rivalry, jealousy), wrath, strife (provoke), seditions (disunion, subvert faith), heresies (sects, denominations),

5:21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings (rioting), and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   (1Cor 6:10)

The Fruit of the Spirit

5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), gentleness (usefulness), goodness, faith (trustworthiness),

John 15:2  Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Ephesians 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Colossians 3:12  Put on therefore, as the chosen of God, set-apart and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

5:23  Meekness (humility), temperance (self control): against such there is no law.

5:24  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

This verse makes no sense in the KJV because it is mistranslated.

The Greek: 24 But they of the Anointed (group) crucify the flesh along with those affections and those desires.

Romans 6:6  Knowing this, that our old (ungodly) man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

1Peter 2:11  Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Again, not 'once saved, always saved'. We must live AND walk in the Spirit. Believe AND do.

5:26  Let us not be desirous of vain glory (become conceited), provoking one another, envying one another.

In chapter 6, the context of the rituals is no longer the subject. Now Paul is talking about general living among each other.

Bear One Another's Burdens

Galatians 6:1  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault (trespass), ye which are spiritual (of the Spirit), restore such an one in the spirit of meekness (humility); considering yourself, lest you also be tempted (tested).

Be humble in correction of your brethren and don't impose to the point of division.

6:2  Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Verse 2 is a rhetorical question. It's referring to the ego in verse 1.

2  Should you bear one anothers' burdens, and in that manner fulfill the law of the Anointed?

Romans 15:1  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

1Thessalonians 5:14  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

James 2:8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love your neighbour as yourself, ye do well:

6:3  For if a man think himself to be something (ego), when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

6:4  But let every man prove (scrutinize) his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing (boasting) in himself alone, and not in another.

6:5  For every man shall bear his own burden.

Is Paul saying in verse 2 that we should bear each others burden and here in verse 5 that every man should bear his own burden? No, Romans 2:6  Who (Yahweh) will render to every man according to his deeds:

Providing for your brethren is different than paying for his sins.

6:6  Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

6 He who is being instructed in the word must share in all good things with he who is teaching.

6:7  Be not deceived (led astray); God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Job 13:9  Is it good that He should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock Him?

6:8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Job 4:8  Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

Sowing of the Spirit is keeping the law.

6:9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint (falter) not.

6:10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith (The Belief).

A household is a family. The family (seed, DNA, posterity) of the faith. The faith of Abraham. Abraham had allegiance with Yahweh, not by “just belief” but by his actions. So did Christ. So must we. Faith is allegiance. Allegiance is loyalty, loyalty comes by action and example.

John 9:4  I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Titus 3:8  This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Ephesians 2:19  Now therefore (by maintaining good works) ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Final Admonitions and Benediction

6:11  Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.

A reference to Paul's eyesight. He likely wrote the salutation of this letter.

6:12  As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross (pale) of Christ.

'They' are the Judaizers. If the Galatians, and we, became Judaized, then the Jews would not be set apart from us. The Jews want to Judaize Christians so the Jews are not persecuted for the cross.

6:13  For neither they (Jews) themselves who are circumcised keep the law (Torah); but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory (boast) in your flesh (bodies).

6:14  But God forbid that I should glory (boast), save in the cross of our Prince Yahshua Christ, by whom the world (society) is crucified unto me, and I unto the world (society).

The world is dead to Paul, He lives by the preservation through imitating Christ.

6:15  For in Christ Yahshua neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

15 Indeed neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new foundation.

1Corinthians 7:19  Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God (does matter).

2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is on a renewed foundation, the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed!

The references of Romans 2:26-29 state that if you are uncircumcised but follows the Torah you are reckoned as circumcised. And more so than one who is circumcised that does not follow the Torah.

What also may be being said here is that when you come to the truth, and take hold of it, if you are not circumcised, don't fret over getting circumcised, just continue to follow the commandments of Yahweh and live as a lovingly-commited one.

6:16  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy (loving-commitment), and upon the Israel (Anointed) of God.

Psalm 125:5  As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Yahweh shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

6:17  From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Prince Yahshua.   (3Mac 2:29)

2Corinthians 1:5  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

If we stand for Christ, we will be persecuted, we will have sufferings and pain. Paul went through many beatings and torments, and died for Him.

6:18  Brethren, the grace (favor, Divine influence) of our Prince Yahshua Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

GALATIANS-  CHURCH DOCTRINE VS. SCRIPTURE

Below are 3 sources of what the modern churches preach today about the book of Galatians.

The purpose is to expose the apostasy and perversion of the scriptures, and to educate our people about the truth of our heritage. That we, the anglo-saxon race who are the descendants of ancient Israel, are the people of Abraham's seed and therefore the heirs of the promises of Yahweh. Not the Jews who distort and pervert the scriptures and teach the 'traditions of men'.

The book of Galatians is a Pauline Epistle (letter from Paul). It was written by the Apostle Paul about 49 A.D. prior to the Jerusalem Council which had taken place in 50 A.D. This quite possibly could have been Paul’s first letter. The key personalities of this book are the Apostle Paul, Peter, Barnabas, Abraham, Titus, and false teachers. Paul writes this book to deal with the problem of circumcision and Jewish legalism toward Gentile believers.

As explained before, 'gentile' means nation, race or kinsmen of the same people. It does not mean non-Israelite. If you are anglo-saxon, you are not a 'gentile' by “church” definition. You are a descendant of the seed of Abraham. And 'believers' is a vague term. Christianity was called The Way in ancient times. You can be a 'believer' of The Way, but it is better to be  Followers of The Way.

•    In chapters 1-2, Paul’s gives his testimony about how he had received the authentic Gospel message. He warns that if anyone presents another Gospel message other than the one he was preaching, that person is “As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!” (1:9). Paul was speaking of the one true Gospel that he had received.

Paul then declares that Christ now lives within him, and directs, and empowers him to live as Christ’s ambassador and instrument: "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me" (2:2o).

•    Chapters 3-5:12, Paul begins by declaring that salvation is through faith and trust in Jesus Christ “Alone”, and cannot be obtained through the keeping of the Law. “You foolish Galatians! Who put you under a spell? Was not Jesus the Messiah clearly portrayed before your very eyes as having been crucified? I want to learn only one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? Having started out with the Spirit, are you now ending up with the flesh? (Galatians 3:1-3). The Law (10 Commandments) is our tutor to lead us to salvation in Jesus Christ, “the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith” (3:24). No one can obey the 10 Commandments. It is impossible. Every person has broken them; therefore, we can only attain salvation through trusting in our Savior Christ Jesus.

Chapters 1-5 are about the sacrificial rituals. Works of the law are the rituals of the law. We must obey the 10 commandments but that is not what the context is here, it's the rituals. The rituals were our schoolmaster. When Christ died, we were supposed to graduate from these lessons and understand that they were done away. And yes we must “trust” in Jesus, but it's more than just “believing and trusting”. These alone get you nothing. You must obey and DO.

•    Chapters 5:13-6, He teaches the Fruits of the Spirit and tells us to “walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh” (5:16). Good works does not save, but a Christian must have the desire to produce good fruit, obey God’s Law and live a holy and righteous life in the eyes of God. Christians should live this redeemed life.

Summary of the Book of Galatians

Author

The opening verse identifies the author of Galatians as the apostle Paul. Apart from a few 19th-century interpreters, no one has seriously questioned his authorship.

Date and Destination

The date of Galatians depends to a great extent on the destination of the letter. There are two main views:

1 The North Galatian theory. This older view holds that the letter was addressed to churches (assemblies) located in north-central Asia Minor (Pessinus, Ancyra and Tavium), where the Gauls had settled when they invaded the area in the third century b.c. It is held that Paul visited this area on his second missionary journey, though Acts contains no reference to such a visit. Galatians, it is maintained, was written between a.d. 53 and 57 from Ephesus or Macedonia.

2 The South Galatian theory. According to this view, Galatians was written to churches (assemblies) in the southern area of the Roman province of Galatia (Antioch, Iconium, Lystra and Derbe) that Paul had founded on his first missionary journey. Some believe that Galatians was written from Syrian Antioch in 48-49 after Paul's first journey and before the Jerusalem council meeting (Acts 15). Others say that Galatians was written in Syrian Antioch or Corinth between 51 and 53.

Occasion and Purpose

Judaizers were Jewish Christians who believed, among other things, that a number of the ceremonial practices of the OT were still binding on the NT church.

Total blasphemy!

Jews cannot be Christian, for 2Corinthians 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers (infidel, stranger, alien): for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Brethren, the Jews are the seed of the serpent (Satan). We are the children of Israel. Gen 3:15

The Jews were the Judaizers for that is their religion. Judaism is the perversion of the laws of Moses that are twisted into the 'traditions of men'. These Judaizers were the Edomite Jew Pharisees that have usurped the religious order and murdered Christ. They never have and never will accept Christ.

Stop supporting their lies, blasphemies, and hypocrisy.

These Judaizers were teaching to continue the blood rituals, because they did not accept Christ's sacrifice.  If they turned the people to Judaism, then they would be held above reproach.

Now the “NT church”. This is a 'tradition of men'. The “churches” teach that the OT was the Jews (Israelites, which they are not, they are Edomites and Canaanites), and Israel is replaced by the “church”. Nowhere can this be backed up. The Israelites of the OT are the SAME people in the NT. The “church” cannot take the place of Abraham's seed. The Bible is the book of the generations of Adam. The seed of Abraham.

Following Paul's successful campaign in Galatia, they insisted that Gentile converts to Christianity abide by certain OT rites, especially circumcision. The 'they' are the Judaizers, not Paul.  'Gentile' is the wrong word to describe the true party being talked about here. It should be understood as 'the dispersed Nations' meaning the Israelites that relocated away from Jerusalem after the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. They were of the 10 northern tribes of Israel. The Judaizers argued that Paul was not an authentic apostle and that out of a desire to make the message more appealing to Gentiles (the dispersed Nations) he had removed from the gospel certain legal requirements.

Paul responded by clearly establishing his apostolic authority and thereby substantiating the gospel he preached. By introducing additional requirements for justification (e.g., works of the law) his adversaries (the Jews) had perverted the gospel of grace (favor) and, unless prevented, would bring Paul's converts into the bondage of legalism. While true, the rituals are the context, not good works. It is by grace (favor) through faith (allegiance) alone that people are justified, and it is by faith (allegiance) alone that they are to live out their new life in the freedom of the Spirit. Freedom from the yoke of the rituals. We were cleansed, now don't get dirty by being unrighteous, meaning ignoring following the law.

Theological Teaching

Galatians stands as an eloquent and vigorous apologetic for the essential NT truth that people are justified by faith in Jesus Christ -- by nothing less and nothing more -- and that they are sanctified not by legalistic works but by the obedience that comes from faith in God's work for them, in them and through them by the grace and power of Christ and the Holy Spirit. It was the rediscovery of the basic message of Galatians (and Romans) that brought about the Protestant Reformation. Galatians is often referred to as "Luther's book," because Martin Luther relied so strongly on this letter in all his preaching, teaching and writing against the prevailing theology of his day. It is also referred to as the "Magna Carta of Christian Liberty." A key verse is 2:16.

Galatians

Who wrote the book?

Galatians has always been among those Pauline epistles least challenged on the issue of authorship. Paul wrote to the churches (assemblies) in southern Galatia after having a hand in starting them on his first missionary journey to Asia Minor. Paul’s close relationship to these churches (assemblies) helps to explain the extremely strong tone he took with them from the very beginning of the letter. Galatians exhibits Paul at his angriest, as he risked the good favor of the converts in those churches (assemblies) to make sure they were on the path of truth and not led off into deception. In fact, to emphasize the seriousness of his purpose, he took the pen from his scribe and wrote the end of the letter himself in large letters (Galatians 6:11). He likely wrote the salutation. Why would he finish the letter?

Where are we?

Upon arriving back in Antioch from his first missionary journey after eighteen months on the road, Paul received a report that the churches (assemblies) he had started in Galatia had fallen into hard times—specifically, they had fallen into error. A group of Judaizers—those who sought to make living under the Mosaic Law a requirement of the Christian faith—had gained an influence in the Galatian churches (assemblies). Paul wrote the book a few months before his attendance at the Jerusalem Council in AD 49, a meeting where the apostles would take up this very topic (Acts 15:1–30).

Why is Galatians so important?

In advance of the Jerusalem Council, Paul’s letter speaks wisdom and clarity into the first real controversy that plagued the church (assembly) in its early years—the relationship between Christian Jews (this is an oxymoron, like saying Saint Devils) and Christian Gentiles (dispersed Israelite Christians of the tribes of Israel). The only people who can be Christian are the children of light. Adamite and Israelite kinsmen. The Jews are Edomite and Canaanites, they are a mixed breed. They are the Judaizers. Those perverting the scriptures and deceiving the whole world. Paul’s aggressive tone shows just how important it was to him that the people embrace unity in Christ, no matter their racial distinctions. While this commentator and the “churches” support this 'doctrine of men', the scriptures teach the exact opposite. The whole Bible is a book of segregation and exclusiveness. Nowhere does Yahweh or Christ, the prophets or apostles support unity of aliens, strangers, and other races. Nowhere. Every time you see the words 'all, every, and whosoever', they must be taken in context with the entire book, the generations of Adam. For him, this was no minor issue, as he went so far as to call the Galatians deserters of Christ, people turning from the truth toward a gospel contrary to the one they had received from Paul (Galatians 1:6–9). They were deserters if they turned from the truth. The Judaizers played a huge role in scattering the sheep, just like today's “churches” do. The “churches” are today's Judaizers. The word Judeo-Christian is an oxymoron. Christianity is not Judaism. This is the deception Christ warned us about.

What's the big idea?

When the Galatians fell away so quickly from the gospel of grace (favor) Paul had preached to them, they also made clear their disloyalty to Paul’s authority as an apostle. Therefore, Paul began the letter to the Galatians by spending two chapters defending that very issue. Only in chapter 3 did he begin to get to the heart of their error; namely, that these Galatians sought to be justified by the Mosaic Law. In contrast, Paul presented his argument that justification comes to people by faith in Jesus Christ, not by their works (of the rituals) under the Law.

Part of the problem that confronted the Galatians came in one of the arguments made by the Judaizers. These false teachers suggested that to live by grace (favor) and in freedom meant to live a lawless and therefore degenerate life. And so in the final chapters of the letter, Paul made clear that justification—an act of grace through faith—need not result in a sinful lifestyle. Because Christians have been freed from bondage to the sinful nature, we now have the path of holiness open to us. And not by “just believing”.

How do I apply this?

Unfortunately, the false teaching brought to the Galatian churches (assemblies) by the Judaizers has been extremely difficult to root out even today. Bravo! We must walk a fine line—on one hand, we do not want to fall into the legalism that the Galatians struggled with, but on the other, we cannot just live as if anything goes. The Christian’s commitment to Christ is based on the free gift of grace (favor) through faith (allegiance), but as Paul articulated at the end of Galatians, it also results in a life of walking by the Spirit.(walking in His example)

Is the fruit of the Spirit evident in your life, or do you find yourself living according to the flesh or “the compulsions of selfishness” (Galatians 5:16–26 MESSAGE)? Too often we lose ourselves at the extremes, ending in a legalistic attempt to earn our salvation or a devil-may-care attitude about our sin.

Use Paul’s words in Galatians as an encouragement to pursue a life of holiness, not in your own strength but in the knowledge of God’s empowering grace (favor) in your life.

Holiness or righteousness comes from keeping His statutes, laws, and commandments. Not by “just believing”.

Show Yahweh that you are worthy of the favor He has given you. By DOING and by BEING.
