Cain

Cain was Eve's firstborn son. He was not Adam's son. When Eve was in the garden alone with the serpent (the Devil), he tricked her into laying down with him. That is why Cain is not listed in any record as being Adam's son.   He was a tiller of the ground (someone who grows crops). Cain and his little half brother Abel, each presented an offering to Yahweh. Abel gave one of the firstborn of his flock and Cain gave some food that he grew, and not of the best of his harvest. Yahweh liked Abel's offering better. Cain was so jealous that he killed Abel. When Yahweh asked Cain where his half brother was, Cain was rude to Yahweh and said, "I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?" Yahweh knew that Cain lied, so He punished Cain by making his crops never to grow again and by making him a wanderer (with no home) on the earth. Cain told Yahweh that his punishment was more than he could stand because people would try to kill him. So Yahweh said that anyone who killed Cain would be punished seven times as bad. Yahweh put a mark on Cain to protect him. Many say that this mark was the hook type nose that only Jews have. Others say that this mark was his countenance, or his characteristics.

Cain in Hebrew is Kahyin.

Cain means to attain, get, possess, acquire. It also means to strike, hence a snake striking the heel of Yahweh's children.

Cain came into the world through acquisition, the acquisition of deceit.

Genesis 4:1  And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten (acquired) a man from the LORD.

Knew means to lay down with.

When Eve said “I have gotten a man from the LORD”, this was a statement, rather than a question, from Eve, not a fact.

Man in verse 1 comes from iysh (which means mortal H376). Different than man (awdawm H119/120) which refers to Adam. All Adamites can be described as an iysh, all iysh are not Adamites. Cain was not Adam's son. He was the Devil's son.

1John 3:11-12

11  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

12  Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his half brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his half brother's righteous.

The original Hebrew reads at the end of verse 1 as: “...and said, “I have acquired a man from where, Yahweh?””

From where is a combination of, H570,369,370, and verse 1 should be a question.

4:2  And she again bare his (half) brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Cain is NOT listed in Adam's genealogy (not in the OT, not in the NT, nor anywhere).

Cain was a tiller of the ground. Tiller is abad, which also means worshiper. Cain was a worshiper of the earth, corrupt society, and false gods.

4:3  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto Yahweh.

An offering was not the firstfruits nor the best.

Now, since Cain brought only the fruit of the ground for his first offering to Yahweh, it is readily discernible that he did not have the spiritual insight of the pure Adamic seed which Abel had.

4:4  And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And Yahweh had respect unto Abel and to his offering:  (Exo 13:2)

Abel brought the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof. Abel sacrificed the first of the flock to Yahweh  to foreshadow the coming of 'The Lamb of Yahweh', who was Yahshua Christ, sacrificed for the redemption of the Adamic race.

4:5  But unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance (appearance of his face ) fell.

Abel brought the firstlings, the best. Cain did not bring the firstfruits.

Cain did not understand this, because he was not an Adamic 'spirit man' and this ritual of the sacrifice could only be spiritually understood. Goodness and doing well was not in him.

4:6  And Yahweh said unto Cain, Why art you wroth? and why is your countenance fallen?

4:7  If you doest well, shalt you not be accepted? and if you doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto you shall be his (sin's) desire, and you shalt rule with him (sin).

Sin is a metaphor for Satan in verse 7.

Yahweh was giving Cain the chance to do well, but Yahweh knew that a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. He was challenging Cain to do good. But Cain and his children can only do the lusts of their father the Devil, as Christ stated when He was talking to the Edomite Pharisees.

Sin lurks from the gate (birth).

4:8  And Cain talked with Abel his (half) brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his (half) brother, and slew (murdered) him.

Book of Adam and Eve 83:34 Cain said to Abel, "O brother, the country is so beautiful, and there are such beautiful and pleasurable trees in it, and charming to look at! But brother, you hast never been one day in the field to take your pleasure therein.

35 "To-day, O, my brother, I very much wish you wouldest

come with me into the field, to enjoy yourself and to bless our fields and our flocks, for you art righteous, and I love you much, O my brother! but you hast estranged yourself from me."

36 Then Abel consented to go with his half brother Cain into the field.

37 But before going out, Cain said to Abel, "Wait for me, until I fetch a staff, because of wild beasts."

38 Then Abel stood waiting in his innocence. But Cain, the forward, fetched a staff and went out.

39 And they began, Cain and his half brother Abel, to walk in the way; Cain talking to him, and comforting him, to make him forget everything.

84:1 AND so they went on, until they came to a lonely place, where there were no sheep; then Abel said to Cain, "Behold, my brother, we are weary of walking; for we see none of the trees, nor of the fruits, nor of the verdure, nor of the sheep, nor any one of the things of which you didst tell me. Where are those sheep of yours you didst tell me to bless?"

2 Then Cain said to him, "Come on, and presently you shalt see many beautiful things. but go before me, until I come up to you."

3 Then went Abel forward, but Cain remained behind him.

4 And Abel was walking in his innocence, without guile; not believing his brother would kill him.

5 Then Cain, when he came up to him, comforted him with his talk, walking a little behind him; then he hastened, and smote him with the staff, blow upon blow, until he was stunned,

6 But when Abel fell down upon the ground, seeing that his half brother meant to kill him, he said to Cain, "O, my brother, have pity on me. By the breasts we have sucked, smite me not! By the womb that bare us and that brought us into the world, smite me not unto death with that staff! If you wilt kill me, take one of these large stones, and kill me outright."

7 Then Cain, the hard-hearted, and cruel murderer, took a large stone, and smote his half brother with it upon the head, until his brains oozed out, and he weltered in his blood, before him.

8 And Cain repented not of what he had done.

9 But the earth, when the blood of righteous Abel fell upon it, trembled, as it drank his blood, and would have brought Cain to naught for it.

10 And the blood of Abel cried mysteriously to God, to avenge him of his murderer.

11 Then Cain began at once to dig the earth wherein to lay his half brother; for he was trembling from the fear that came upon him, when he saw the earth tremble on his account.

12 He then cast his half brother into the pit he made, and covered him with dust. But the earth would not receive him; but it threw him up at once.

13 Again did Cain dig the earth and hid his half brother in it; but again did the earth throw him up on itself; until three times did the earth thus throw up on itself the body of Abel.

14 The muddy earth threw him up the first time, because he was not the first creation; and it threw him up the second time and would not receive him, because he was righteous and good, and was killed without a cause; and the earth threw him up the third time and would not receive him, that there might remain before his half brother a witness against him.

15 And so did the earth mock Cain, until the Word of God, came to him concerning his half brother.

Genesis 4:9  And Yahweh said unto Cain, Where is Abel your (half) brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my (half) brother's keeper (guardian)?

4:10  And He said, What hast you done? the voice of your (half) brother's blood crieth unto Me from the ground.

Abel still awaits wrath and vengeance to Cain and his seedline. Cain is cursed FROM the ground. It will never again yield it's bounty to his seedline. Cain is the first Jew. Jews are not farmers.

 4:11  And now art you cursed from the land, which hath opened her mouth to receive your (half) brother's blood from your hand;

4:12  When you tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto you her strength (produce); a fugitive and a vagabond shalt you be in the land.

4:13  And Cain said unto Yahweh, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

4:14  Behold, You hast driven me out this day from the face of the land; and from Your face (presence) shall I be hid (absent); and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the land; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

4:15  And Yahweh said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Yahweh set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

Some say the mark is the hook nose, which is a telltale sign. Some say the V shaped smile. Others say the mark is that he was a giant. The mark is also his ways and actions. As Christ stated, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

4:16  And Cain went out from the presence of Yahweh, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Nod means vagrancy, exile, wandering.

Judges 1:11  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

The way of Cain is the wrong way. The way of Cain is evil.

1John 3:12  Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Cain was of that wicked one. The wicked one is the Devil. Cain was the son of the Devil.
